does anyone feel like the new animes coming these days has more to do with xxx and hentai?

i really feel uncomfortable with those. i just like to watch plain old anime shows. good ones too.

Eh, anime are either anime, or hentai. If the anime that you've been watching recently all have hentai material, then chances are you have been watching hentai.:p Just know how to pick your anime and you should be fine.

I don�t really agree with that, I honestly haven�t seen a lot of �panty animes� being launched; I think its just perspective. If you look around you�ll notice that a lot of quality animes are being released these days. If it helps read Animerica they�ll help you out in finding the right anime for you.

no, i don't think i have been watching hentai. i just watch normal tv, like nick or toons. i watch and when some anime shows go on, hello! hentai!!

As far as I know, Nickolodeon and Cartoon Network aren't allowed to show hentai because its, oh, illegal! Either you have a very broad or prudish view of hentai, or you are mistaken.

I think you might be watching the version of Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network that shows on that Hell-run satellite network (anyone remember the movie Stay Tuned with John Ritter?... eh?.................. ok n/m)


anyways. I dont know what it is youre seeing but they dont show hentai on american television. excluding some parts with naughty bits in those retarded Action Channel anime movies (excluding Macross Plus, Princess Mononoke, Ghost in the Shell, Metropolis, and Akira).

I have no idea about American television... but overall I assume yo��re mistaken - thank god.

Hm, I assume that more and more anime find their way to us simply means that there are also some more hentai anime that come here, that�s natural.
Read magazines, browse the internet for info, and you�ll find out that there are still tons of very very good anime out there.

Atom, you put metropolis in the same boat as some of my favoirite animes. I havent seen it, but ive been heavly advised againsed it. Now Im confused.

Back to the topic! I dont know about you forestmage, but I had about 900 channles just awhile ago and I didnt see any hentai, heck I barly saw much anime (real anime, not poke...I wont even say that name) Although that was canadian sat, it still had tones of american channles.

Mint, I was just listing the different anime movies that they show on Starz Action Channel that ARENT retarded. And Metropolis is a GREAT movie. One of my favorites. You should definitely check it out. But stay away from the dub.

...finding the right anime isn't really that hard....if you're looking for a certain genre..then it's easy to find.....take hentai for example...that's TOO easy to find...just look for sex in anime..and there you go....but Animerica is a great source for finding anime..and good stuff that goes along with it....I'd get a subscription if I could..but am not looking for a lot of payments into things..right now...I turn more into RPG-like anime...like the Record of Lodoss War series..and Shadow Skill....and things like that....just recently saw Escaflowne...and just made mental note that I have to find it..and get it...
