CC where are you in the game? I really don't feel like policing this thread for spoilers. Both games have been out for quite a while.

So, just suggest where people should begin tagging stuff, but realize that it'll only be taken as a suggestion.

Not trying to shit on your parade, bro <3

Hm...yeah, it is a pretty cool game. Dunno if the plot twist was ALL that, but it certainly was one of the most, "You little two-bit p**** SOB!" worthy. I guess after the build-up(seeing the first Big Daddy lay the smackdown on that splicer comes to mind), the rest of the game kinda...well, fizzled.

I actually grew to like Bioshock 2 more, to be honest. Lamb's constant haranguing got on my nerves, but I already wanted to wipe her out. That, and it was honestly awesome to be toting around a minigun, too.:D

I can't do anything but respect Fontaine. I adore all of the male characters in 1. 2 is a mess storytelling-wise, and Sinclair is a weasel even if he is honest.

What happens to him is one the most out-of-left-field pointless things I've ever seen in anything.

Infinite....jeebus don't get me started on Infinite. FINISH RAPTURE'S STORY-ARC!!!!! 1 and 2 can be tied together if they try, just to wrap things up.

Eleanor vs. a resurrected Ryan ^_^

You can try to usurp power and little sisters for yourself, or try to save them. Either way, Ryan would be a fantastic foil. Still think the reveal of him alive should have been the last shot of 2. But, what do I know, I'm not the creator. Apparently, 7thGradeHistoryTextbookShock will be the next big thing

I'm a fan of determinism, so I pretty much wanted to hug Fontaine the second everything was revealed. Also:

I remembered that Would Ya Kindly? was written on the package after Atlus had said it a few times. So, I was already looking for connections.

Ryan's vita chamber was on, btw. So, there really isn't anyway he didn't get resurrected. I like to believe that he let himself get killed so that you'd want to take out Fontaine for him. In that way, Ryan won. Plus, like I said, he's gotta be alive, to boot. Fontaine is awesome, but don't fuck with Andrew Ryan <3

Actually I think Infinite is the best possible direction for the series. Bioshock 1 ended just fine, and like you said, 2 was a complete mess. There wouldn't even be an rapture story-arc if they hadn't made that atrocity. I don't know about you, but I try to ignore Bioshock 2's existence.

Bioshock 2 is set in Rapture, this gives it a leg up over Infinite, automatically. It might not be an awesome Bioshock game, but at least it's a Bioshock game ;)

But, you never know, maybe Infinite will relate to Andrew Ryan's origins in some way? I tend to get huffy about things before I start liking them. Such is my current lot in life!

I still have yet to play the second Bioshock game. The first one was great...except the lack of a New Game+ because I never played it again when I realized I had to build my character and get all his plasmids or whatever back. But one day I'm sure I'll be playing both (and maybe the third) at some point but not right now.

I'm pretty sure they will tie it somehow. The first trailer seems to imply that.

Recently beat Bioshock for maybe the fourth time saving all the little sisters (for the achievement). I'm going to beat again so I can get the irony achievement and find all the Power To The People stations and all of the diaries.

Yeah, definitely good luck on finding the diaries. I had to go through five times, and read a walkthrough for the fifth time, to insure I got all the diaries. Those things can be a serious pain to find.

I laughed when I got the Irony achievement though...so perfect and in character for the moment.

I haven't found all diaries with the first, I did in one run in the second. Weird stuff.

Personally I didn't think that the second one was all that bad. But it did seem like a forced sequel, in that regard I am really looking forward to Infinite. The first one will always have a special place in my heart, also due to the awesome voice acting.

The original Bioshock was the first game I got with my 360, along with Gears Of War. I still regard it as one of the most original and fun games I've ever played. And it looks just beautiful. I keep seeing Bioshock 2 on the pre-owned shelf of practically every gaming shop I go into, always priced at less than a tenner. This, and opinions such as those I've read here, always keep me from buying it. Even if it is cheap, I can buy other things that are equally cheap that I'd be more confident about enjoying.
