I'm looking for David Shire?
I have:
The Hindenburg
The Conversation
Return to Oz
Zodiac

I would like:
Norma Rae
Short Circuit
The Fortune
The Promise
Oh God You Devil

If any of those or any others that I am not mentioning are available, I'd be greatful!

Sorry, don't have any of those, but I highly recommend you add The Taking of Pelham One Two Three to that list. (The original film starring Robert Shaw, mind you.)

One of Shire's best.

^^^ This.

Shockingly good stuff. Avant garde classical techniques and grimy 70s funk, both at the same time. A hard listen for some but bloody hell, it's fantastic.

I already have Return to Oz, which is great as a composition but the interpreation is not great, crappy orchestra, is there just one version?

No, it's the London Symphony Orchestra. And the performance (and recording) is excellent; as one would expect from one of the world's very finest orchestras...

Well I went checking my original CD (from Bay Cities) and yes its the LSO which has always been superb (any fan knows about LSO and their contribution to Star Wars for instance). My comment was a bit exagerated overall but lets say sound is less than superb and check strings (violins) on track 2 starting at 1'35" and especially between 2'30" and 3'14" ...
A great soundtrack no issue here ...

PS I almost forgot the best part! check track 3 from 4'05" to around 4'30", thats the part I remembered :-) can you believe it?

WildwoodPark thanks, I found The Conversation on another board, but still it would be great if you upload it for other users, if you want to of course.
