Does anyone have a copy of the 2010 GoldenEye soundtrack? Or at least the BRSTM files which I could then use to make a soundtrack from and upload?

Many thanks.

I am looking forward to hearing it too. I remember the big hype because David Arnold was scoring it, then we find out he did some "themes" and Kevin Kinner stepped in to write the rest of the music. Should be interesting, though his Star Wars Clone Wars score was nothing to brag about.

Is it perhaps possible to upload Cue 44 and Cue 121 as WAV files like the rest? Those two are MUSX files, and I don't really know what to do with them.

Also, could it be that Cues 73, 74, 75, 76, and 122 and 131 are missing?

Any chance you could upload these cues in an additional package?

Many, many thanks again!

Again I want to thank you for uploading this Terps!

When I got this downloaded, beyond the ones that have been mentioned by Lotman, I found that Cues 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 61, and 84 have some kind of problem with them. I can't convert them with anything I have. (I primarily use Windows Media Player 11 for my music...I can play them in VLC Media Player, but I can't play them in WMP or convert them from wav...WMP says that it doesn't have the codec for them). Is there anyway you could also re-upload these as well?

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I notice that the file size for the cues I mentioned was above the 40 mb range that most of the larger cues in the download have. They ranged from 57 to 202 mb. I thought that was kinda odd that they were so large. Just fyi.

I hope I'm not being a pain in the neck here! I really appreciate all the hard work you put into this! :)

Thanks!

Cues 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 61, and 84 all have 6 or 8 channels. VLC Media player doesn't play them right, but open them up with Audacity and you'll see them and be able to play them all right.

If you don't want to wait, you can just use iTunes. Make a playlist, drag all the wav files into it and select all and convert to mp3. You'll have to go into preferences and import settings to make sure you have it selected to convert files to mp3. then just delete the wav files.

Can't find any info on what sort of files these are online. Were they just files that were accidentally not converted to .wav or something?

Also, in addition to Cues 44 and 121, the mysterious .musx files, Cues #73-76, 122, and 131 seem to be missing altogether. What happened?

Skimming through, here are the few tunes I recognized. Will edit this post as I find the rest:

47 (48 seems to be identical except half the bitrate...): Menu music
61: so familiar, but can't remember from where, lol (somewhere in Nightclub?)
84: Nightclub (9+ minutes!)
111: Pause menu music, I think
135: 'Studio version' of main theme
136: In-game version of main theme (much better melodically (135's pitched too high imo), but shorter and apparently the sound effects of Bond going down the dam are part of the song; the banter at the end of the level is also in the track)

EDIT: Here's what I got from those megauploads, in .mp3 vbr v0 format, since I'm feeling helpful: Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites! (http://www.multiupload.com/G8F2TGYTQ6)

Oh, and if you were wondering. Yes, 47 is the menu music. But 48, the one with half the bitrate is the music when you're in the online lobby (or signing in to Nintendo Wi-fi Connection)

61 is indeed in the Nightclub. I know for certain it's at the end when you're shooting all the dudes in that orange-tinted room, and all the sound effects are weird.

EDIT: Here's what I got from those megauploads, in .mp3 vbr v0 format, since I'm feeling helpful: Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites! (http://www.multiupload.com/G8F2TGYTQ6)
Wow, what an effort - this would have seriously chewed up some time; I'll repay your efforts with whatever cue listings have thus far eluded everyone.

It always sounded strange to me, the fact that Cue 135 (the 'full' Goldeneye theme, not the abridged (+ sound effects) theme you hear at the end of the first level) was pitched higher and felt a little faster than 136, the in-game theme. One would think they'd have the same source, since the latter is an edit of the former.

Well, I tinkered a little and discovered that at 95% speed, it sounds perfect. So I made the change, re-encoded from the .wav file and reuploaded that particular file for everyone:

Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites! (http://www.multiupload.com/JPJMBLH3OK)

Enjoy!

where can we find the full track names????

It was never completed. If anything, we should continue on. I might get one or two done, but I never beat single-player. Or the second level. And I got the game a week after launch.

Okay, screw it- I beat the second mission and now I'm going to go work on this. If anybody wants to help out, just throw out the track names.

EDIT: I got 010 & 011. Both are "Game Lost", which is the first part of what you hear when you lose online.

Cue 14 is definitely one of the multiplayer tracks [HQ], combined with the additional orchestral cover you hear when you play as a Hero.

The corresponding edited version is Cue 50.

Has anyone taken the time to rip the 360 version GOLDENEYE 007 RELOADED? Perhaps the audio format is different or easier to get to...

The engine is probably similar (both consoles can use C, afaik), so it's likely they'll still use the same format. Can't really say anything as I don't own a 360 or the game.

Anyway, I might have the WAV files, but don't hold your breath. Likely that they're all gone.

Hey folks,

This isn't my release but like many of you I have been searching high and low for this sountrack. I finally found this version of the soundtrack with most of the tracks that seemed to have been on this thread. Sadly they are .wav files and the quality isn't fantastic AND track names need edited but it's better than nothing!

Hopefully this will help some of you that were searching anyway.

EDIT

I've just realised thats part of a wider set of files uploaded by someone on youtube. Clicking http://www.youtube.com/user/DarthBenjyMan/videos?query=007+goldeneye and following the links will take you to a number of videos on which there are files containing 4-5 tracks each. I'm trying to piece them all together just now!

Hey, I think the musx format is the same as ps2 format of STAR WARS: THE FORCE UNLEASHED, and this is playable and convertable in ADPCM Player. You may need to set the interleave, and may have to edit the resulting track, cause i remember some junk at the end of the resulting wav file, a type of garbled repeat of the music, but it won't affect the track itself.

I want to know how the conversion from .MUSX to .WAV was done. I've extracted some of the games music (I think...) but I can't convert them to .WAV (or any other format for that matter). I've tried importing them as raw files in Audacity, but that didn't turn out well (not well at all).

So if anyone know's how to do so, I'd appreciate sharing. :)

In about an hour after this post, the WAVes as were completed at the time will be uploaded. Download this for it may go down as well.

Hello,
you can download a version of GoldenEye 007 (2010) Wii version of the cue files here:
Goldeneye 007 Wii_cue_version (http://www.mediafire.com/download/u0s5mtzgkhieyu8/Goldeneye_007_Wii_cue_version.rar)
I have downloaded it years ago from someone that ripped it. They have a good audio quality.

You can download another version of GoldenEye 007 (2010) Wii version with 320kbps and correct file names here:
GoldenEye 007 Wii_320kbps (http://www.mediafire.com/download/22ix6343f5fk4z1/GoldenEye_007_Wii_320kbps.rar)

The problem is that I accidentally removed the first two files and I replaced them from the cue version. The one file is only 15'' but the other is the song. Oh well... My mistake! If someone has them, he/she could reupload them here.

The problem is that in the 320kbps version, files are only 34 but in the cue version is of 128 !?!? Sure, some tracks are missing and for example the great track - Conflict - Heroes - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JDab5VjZJo is not there too. It's fortunately in the cue version - #14.

Can anyone start to make the definite rip collection with the best audio quality from this game? The soundtrack is one of the best !
