Who actually did make this music if Sakimoto and Iwata didn't? Thanks for the welcome, I will definitely try to stick around for a while.

I don't know, I wonder if there's another person credited for additional music or sound in the credits. But I've heard that they had no involvement in the project whatsoever, and solo piano for cutscenes isn't really either one's style. In fact, Sakimoto has only ever made a (small) handful of solo piano pieces in his whole career, and I'm just about positive Iwata has never done even one.

Well thats a shame, the person that played the piano is very talented. Too bad they get very little recognition.

The piano pieces are arranged and performed by Monaca studio (the guys responsible for the soundtrack of Nier).
