I've never heard any FX, hence I said it was a promotional bootleg to the best of my knowledge. If there were FX, I would have said so and called it a DVDRip.

NICE! This has to be the best Spider-Man 3 promotional score I've come across...the only thing I noticed so far is that tracks #27 and 30 on Disc 2 ("Confrontation pt. 1" and "Death of Harry") are abruptly clipped at the end instead of fading out.

If it's possible, could these tracks be extended to a point where they actually stop or fade?

Either way, this is an awesome upload: thanks again!

I'm new to all this so anyone care to tell me the differences in terms?

I know what the following are...

Academy or FYC Promo
DVD Rip
Recording Sessions

So Promotional Bootleg means what? Music gained from some source with no FX but unauthorized? Is that right?

I have no idea, I'm no sound engineer.

Perhaps I am imprecise. I don't really know the provenance of this album. Since there's no FX that I've found, I presume it to be some kind of promo or bootleg. maybe I should have put "or" prominently between Promotional and Bootleg, but the point remains that it's still the most comprehensive non-DVDRip Spider-Man 3 score I've found yet.

I think it concretely means the Composer's promo. I guess composers like to give a final shape to their work even for themselves, and perhaps for friends and collectors.
As no release has been made, it' s then like an unofficial release: the composer's promo.

But more likely, I think this one is a crossover between the composer's promo + perhaps some of his unreleased stuff he added or that has leaked from somewhere +
D. Lurrie & J. Debney's personal promos + perhaps even leaked tracks from the recording sessions.

I was curious and gave a go listening to this. And then I tried 'Parker 1' s version from the other topic. I'm amazed with the skills of that guy who is listening and
do have all the versions available since two years: he's unable to select the best sources, and though he presents it in 320kb/s the one from MadKalnod still sounds
better in 224kb/s for the most part !!! ... Just compare the "Main Title": the background brasses are completely fucked up on Parker's 320 version. When I think that
track is available since the beginning in good quality...!

So, you're in the right topic. ;)

PS: It is even possible this contains leaked material originally managed from the blue ray release. I don't believe too much in coincidences in timeline.

Snooping around, I found this copy of the SM3 expanded score with full, unclipped versions of tracks #27 (Confrontation pt. 1, which now runs 5:01) and 30 (Death of Harry, which now runs 5:25):

Hotfile.com: One click file hosting: SMan3.zip (http://hotfile.com/dl/45263773/8162dfe/SMan3.zip.html)

This version is practically identical, but is arranged differently and does not include the short Black Suit overture/suite on disc 2...tracks 27 and 30 are on disc 1 of this version if you just want to copy-and-replace the clipped ones on disc 2 for the posted version above (which I like better).

double post, but there's a problem with extracting the folder

Works fine this is a file with a rar file inside! So when you extract it you get another rar file not the music files!
Save the rar file to a location on your PC then go and double click on it this will extract the music files!
If still having a problem check password is typed correct upper case O etc
Don`t copy and paste the password this sometimes fails hand type it in!!
