No, technically it will degrade the quality even further, regardless of the bitrate increase.

The Vampire Killer arrangement, at least, is very likely stored among the game's sound effects - it's actually not a backing music track, but one that plays as part of a puzzle (it's a pretty shitty homage, really). If that's the case, then it's in XMA format and currently unplayable in things like Winamp, Foobar, or even specialized utilities (there was a tool to convert XMAs to WAVs, but it turned out to be using copyrighted code and got scrubbed from most of the net).

Trust me, you're not missing anything - just picture VK being played on a generic wind-up music box.

As for the other arrangements, I'm pretty sure they're along the lines of "I was thinking of this one song when I composed this totally different song"....

Well actually towav can convert XMA's with the proper header added.

Well apparently what i like to do is when i edit my rips i convert it to wav, then when done editing back to ogg again with the same bitrate, however seems i have overlooked the setting. so oops :)

Nice thanks, can you guys help me and find the tracks with the main theme in? I think it always comes up when you fight end bosses in Big Jump its in but I want to find more.
