That "Expanded Score" has less tracks than the album release.

Yes I realize that...i dont know what to call it, but I remember National Treasure 2 had a so called "Expanded" Release with New Material however it was missing quite a few things from the Album Version on it, so I guess this is "Additional Music" but it's still NEW stuff. On the blu-ray of "The Social Network" they discuss how "Hand Covers Bruise" was used and changed three times during the span of the film, TWO of these THREE are present on the album...however all three are present on this release. While this one is shorter then the album and is missing a few tracks from the album it still had many NEW Tracks on it:

06 Zuckerberg Stole Our Website
10 Violation Of Harvard Law
12 Dinner With Sean
13 Bank Of America
14 Who's Eduardo Savrin?
16 What Were The Shares Diluted Down To?

While some of these contain bits of stuff from the Album, they're different it appears they're the film versions.
A couple are brand new though

Could call it a Promo. Or, if it is full of alt takes, it could be a partial recording session....

Hmm, seems like it's pretty much the same. Quality is much cleaner and better than what I have, though.

It's effectively the same thing. There may be some minor differences, but I doubt it's anything gobsmacking.

The bluray release of this soundtrack is especially ineresting. I would't be able to play or rip the disc since I don't have a bluray player on my computer, so instead I've been searching online for a lossless 5.1 stereo sound rip, anyone has any leads?

Thanks for this one. But I'm completely surprised though that this won Best Score, it maybe pretty fresh to the Academy, but it doesn't sound like that much of a departure for Reznor. I also thought this score sounded like playing an 80s video game with the MIDI-like sounds.

It doesn't need to be a departure for Reznor. I mean, this is his thing, so if it works, then who cares? The man inovates where he pleases. I loved that he won, because, frankly, you almost never hear music like this in hollywood; it's all big-epic-orchestra followed by big-epic-orchestra, which is great, but hardly much insofar as bringing new and interesting sounds to the audience. Besides, as a soundtrack, it stands alone perfectly. Most require you having seen the movie to contextualize the music, and other soundtracks don't hit you with that consistency. Every time I start listening to The Social Network, it feels as fresh as ever, and each track retains the resonance of the one that came before it. I mean, the Inception soundtrack, though excellent, works best with the movie, and there are tracks that really don't do anything for me, at least, without it, while Rahman's 127 Hours score was good, I only ever find myself listening to the same 3 tracks. And if there are any 80s games that sound like The Social Network, I'd love to play them.

Does anyone have an FLAC or WAV rip of this? The one that I downloaded from foxtown's post is full of glitches. It was most likely downloaded from the film's site using IDM or JD.
