If you play the track starting at 2:07, and then replay the track from the start, it's MUCH louder at the start than it is on 2:07, and it's the same passage of music...do you know why that would be?

I lack the skills to rip so most of my work is done through conversions. I downloaded the music from SNES.org and converted the files to WAV then mp3. As such, I have no clue how to fix whatever error may exist in that track. My apologies.

If what ManiacalFool said is what I'm thinking, then perhaps he's referring to that annoying thing with a certain SNESAmp plug-in for Winamp where for some stupid reason the volume on the plug-in starts quiet, then gradually increases in volume over the first few seconds, then over the course of the song, every few seconds suddenly drops by a couple of dB. This at least explains the "much louder at the start" issue.
