great album! that's for sure!!! can't stop listening to it! These arrangements made my day. :) so addictive. Shame I'm late for the online broadcasting of this concert.
OFFTOPIC: but as for final fantasy VII arranged music I think Crisis Core' Credits (aka Fulfilled Desire) has the best arranged music in the whole FFVII series. Kazuhiko Toyama made really outstanding work on it.

The quality of the online broadcast left a lot to be desired so it's just as good to hear it for the first time on this CD version.

Anyone manage to snag the encore? Most amazing encore in the history of mankind.

Anyone manage to snag the encore? Most amazing encore in the history of mankind.In my opinion they should have cut the (in relation of the other tracks and in regard of previous FF concerts, weak) Final Fantasy track, and put the encore in the last track slot.
I was quite disappointed, it wasn't on the CD in the first place, cause it gives a very dynamic ending to the whole concert.
Any information of a (reputedly) digital download (of the encore) would be appreciated, couldn't find any information at the official site.

Also check out Benyamin Nuss plays Uematsu (at ffshrine) (http://forums.ffshrine.org/f72/benyamin-nuss-plays-uematsu-megaupload-80343/#post1543234), if you liked the piano parts, seems like he got the chance to play some more of Uematsu (and I think they are quite lighthearted, but nobdoy is perfect). ;)

The encore is available on itunes and amazon, but only if you live in Germany. So I have no way of getting it.

There was another Symphonic Fantasies concert in Tokyo this year. That Encore is not the same but no less great and much easier to find.
