Awesome thanks! I have been looking for ANYTHING I could find from the original tv show for years! The movie one is just not the same at all. This is very cool listening to it now. Too bad Disney has never released an official score to the show it is great stuff.

I have always loved Ducktales - thanks to one and all!

Disney should give Jones' music for Duck Tales the same treatment that Paramount did with Star Trek TNG.

Alas, it's the mouse house so the only thing we may get (in decades to come) will be a 30 minutes of music "best of"-album - available on iTunes only.

Im sure Ducktales was mixed in Stereo, making it almost impossible to isolate the music.

Once I've heard that one program called Melodyne would help to isolate the music from the SFX. But I don't know if this idea make any sense.

The tracks are from Ron Jones' website:

The suite was what he originally had on his older design site, years ago. The seperate cues are what he has up now, so if you got something like Audacity, you can go get those now.

Disney won't license out the rights to their animated projects to third parties, currently ("UP" and "Toy Story 3" were part of Pixar, and CGI).
FSM, closing shop in a few months, was the Ron Jones champion. So, if Disney changes their mind, and Intrada Records gets that booty, I just don't see it happening. And I can't imagine them letting other labels in on it. As La La Land Records said, Disney/Bruce Broughton/and something else, are pretty much Intrada only.



So, we're screwed.

Oh, but I already listened those tracks on his site three years ago and that nine minutes suite too. Thanks for the hint anyway. I even mailed Ron Jones asking for more tracks, but of course, no deal.

Yes, but let's wait until a second animated film's score has been released. Roger himself said that third party comment three or so years ago. Until such time as we can confirm a change from Disney, we shuld assume Disney made an exception for this one.

Are there any more tracks to be found anywhere? I noticed one in particular is missing- the rather sweeping "Donald in the Navy" type theme that used to appear in the episodes when the cavalry would come in or something like that. Otherwise as near as I can tell this is actually pretty much complete, as far as the 'themes.'
