The reason the FLAC is there is to preserve the quality of the music files that came with the game after you've installed it. It's the highest quality you can have without invading the developer's studio's and going through their game audio catalogue.

hehe If you make flacs from ogg files this is not increase quality... Files will be bigger than original files. That's all. Flac format is good for non compressed music from AUDIOCD but for mp3 or ogg is useless.

Obviously, because it's lossless. It's not being saved into another lossy codec further reducing the quality one can have.

Here we go I have to explain it again. If the source is OGG then it is edited and saved as ogg it loses quality. If you save it as flac is reserves the same quality as before. lossy to lossy loses quality whatever codec. He is only keeping the original high quality. Also as you can see he uploaded MP3 and OGG aswell. If you don't like flac just download OGG or MP3, simple really.
