I could've sworn someone had a thread for wonderswan music, but I haven't been able to locate it recently. The reason I ask is because I'm looking for a music from the wonderswan version of Makai Toushi Saga, better known in the U.S. as Final Fantasy Legend I. If someone can share, I'd really appreciate it.

Yeah, I can share it. Give me another day though, I'm gonna be leaving for tonight and won't be back until tomorrow. I'll do it sometime then.

Alright, here we go. Full disclosure, I didn't record this from an actual WonderSwan or anything. It's emulated, but I bet it's pretty accurate since the system generates sounds very simply. The game contains two full versions of the soundtrack, one which is just like the Gameboy, but with the WSC's sound chip obviously, and the second has little extra melodies added and slightly different sounds. There's an extra song in there whose origin I don't know, it might not have been used or maybe it's taken from a different game later in the series. I'm not familiar with these games or their music. Sounds like Uematsu though. In any case, it's not on the soundtrack CD. There's also a version of "Wipe Away Your Tears" that is the same as the one from the second group, except it doesn't loop and comes to a real ending.

just finished taking a brief listen to all the tracks, and "Wow, I'm impressed with the sound quality." You have done well and I thank you for fulfilling my request. As for the extra song, I'll look into it on my own, but appreciate the work you've done. Thanks again.

For future reference, Arc Nova has original files. It's the Neo Geo Pocket/Color that's the real problem.
