Hello!

I am also in search for the rejected music from Craig Armstrong for Clash of the Titans (also, no offense to Djawadi, who did a nice job).
Io's Theme by Craig Armstrong is featured at the very end of the End Credits, and sounds really majestic and beautiful, and made me curious for the rest! I'm sure I'm not the only one... :)

In advance, thank you very much!

Ha, so I'm not the only one :-)

Do you have an idea to get it?

Yes there is. Armstrong was working on it, but for some reason they decided to go with Djwadi.

Doesn't mean it is available though. How far along did he get. Was it finished, was it even recorded?

I just read on Hans Zimmer's site under the soundtrack for it that Armstrong's score was recorded (but it did not mention what % of it). It has to be out there somewhere...........

I too would be interested in hearing it... I think his score for 2008's Incredible Hulk was simply fantastic and terribly underrated.

Yes, some was recorded. The end titles feature ''Io's Theme'', so there is some recorded :-)

WE MUST HAVE IT!

EDIT*

I just found some info about the whole scoring ordeal,

CLASH OF THE TITANS -- Craig Armstrong & Neil Davidge. Davidge reported on his site that Hans Zimmer had replaced Armstrong (though IMDB.com lists Ramin Djawadi), and that Davidge is still working on his score cues for the film (So appearently, while working with Armstrong, his score material was goign to be independant of Armstrong's themes). I don't know at this time how much of Armstrong's (very non Rosenthal) score was recorded, but some was. [Ramin Djawadi.]

Which Clash of the Titans score was Craig Armstrong involved in? [2010 or 1981]

Laurence Rosenthal - 1981 CotT

Craig Armstrong - 2010 (later replaced by Ramin Djawadi)

Neither composer lists score samples on their website. Davidge does have one track from Clash, a song.

Is it "The Storm That Brought You to Me"?

I have NO IDEA why that's on the OST, it's awful

The majority of rejected scores (which, by the way, that is my site linked above) are not leaked. In fact, many films that do have rejected scores, which leaks for the replacement surface, still don't leak the rejected effort. It's just life.

And not every rejected score is released when an official limited edition release of the replacement score happens.
