Also, is there anyone that has ripped the music from the pilot (and/or the 2nd episode) somehow?

I've ripped a bit of the music. Lots of sound effects and such. I'm new to doing this.

Obviously a rip off of the 2009 movie soundtrack - but I think I like this better.

Thanks for the rip, I really enjoyed the music in Sherlock too, especially the part that reminded me of the 2009 movie soundtrack. It has a kind of bouncy, energetic playfulness mixed with mystery that I've started to associate with Holmes' character.

I do hope there will be a soundtrack released, although the series is only 3 parts.

I've only seen the first episode so far, but I'd quite like a soundtrack album. At only 3 episodes, there ought not be too much to really break the bank in terms of missing stuff out.

Outstanding show and yes I think we'll get a score early next year as well. The theme has grown on me since I first heard it.

If I'm honest, it strikes me as good for writing and meditation. It's good background music.

i like the music for it, being honest i wasnt expecting much from the tv series with it being set in modern times but with being a distant relitive of benidict's it was compulsory viewing

I'm glad someone has said this. The show is huge non-event musically - bland drones, chords and beats, and filled with mindless, cliched suspense screeching.

I think we are spoiled, some time ago I would have gotten excited about the score for this show. Now I just compare it to things that were so much better and think of what could have been.

Thank you Zero_flyer. I'm curious as to whether this was ripped from the DVD/Blu-ray or came from some other source. It's also funny how half of them are numbered and named and the others are lengthy filenames but that's an easy fix.

Could try using an IP masker to download from iTunes.; that's how I saw the first episode on BBC iPlayer. Used Mask Surf Pro and switched to a UK IP.

I recall reading on Arnold's twitter site that they've already started mastering the Series two OST and that he estimates it could be out later February. Hopefully so, but I would have thought that would be too close to the first series OST release, wouldn't it?

I remember finding something about a Series 2 OST on Michael Price's facebook, too. He said: "There might be a bonus download track to go with the season 1 cd when it comes out later this month, and fingers crossed there may even be a season 2 Cd! Nothing set in stone yet." Of course, fingers and toes always crossed.

Perhaps the true answer is the plethora of different strategies.

These will all help deal with automated bots, but not with a dedicated individual intent on taking out files.

It worked with Zipeg.

I suggest you use some alternative software.

Mr. Savage, I thank you. It is a pity that people actually heap abuse on someone who is offering something for FREE- and went through some trouble to do so. Like Greedy children at Christmas time who should have candy canes shoved up their collective... um... noses.

The music downloaded fine and gave me a taste of the score absent from the visual program. Of course the opening theme is catchy, as for the rest being a delightful listening experience solo I shall have to see. Once more, it was kind of you to afford this opportunity.

This is a suberb soundtrack, very many thanx DocSavage!

I tried with both WinRAR and 7-Zip, both tell me that there's an "Unexpected end of archive," all the files seem to be there, but Final Act is corrupt and only plays for about 30 seconds.
Anyone able to help me out in any way?

well the previews made it sound a bit more diverse than the series 1 soundtrack at least
(The last part of 'A Final Act' was also used in several other tracks)

edit: also track 9 is not a good track to listen to with headphones on, ouch

I doubt it... maybe the scripts will start this year.

He is very busy, and I'm sure as the heavy in the Star Trek sequel filming this year, that will take priority in filming.
