I like em, theyre fun to use in the second time you play a game and just mess around with codes and pull off crazy ass shit with em.

Indeed, after I beat FF7 the first time, I dusted off the old gameshark and looked up the codes for FF7 to see what they had.

Then I put in the codes so that Cloud would have the Ultima Weapon sword, Ribbon, and all of the available weapons, armor, and materia in inventory. Right off the train at the beginning of the game.

Then I equipped him with the best of everything (including each of the mastered category materia), and went on to see how quickly the game could be beaten that way. Oh, I also had the code in so that he had his limit break each turn (Omnislash in each battle XDDDD).

In fact, I do similar things with all of the new games I buy. I play them through all the way, then look up the codes and put them in and see what kind of crazy stuff can be pulled off at the start of the game.

And then there are the gameshark codes where you can make the game insanely hard. There was a code where you could make Sephiroth have as much HP as Emerald Weapon (actually, it was a code that made all enemies have that much HP, but if you activated it any sooner than that it really made the game a bitch).

I don't remember how that old code was set up, since I've packed all those old games up and am now playing the PS2 and have the gameshark for that sitting there until after I beat some PS2 games.

I am usually against the Gameshark, but I have used it once. It was to play as my lovely Aeris in FF7. I couldn't stand not using her anymore~!!!!

I own one, but I don't know why I bought it, I only used it in GTA3 once to make a paintjob (that would otherwise be impossible).

i whole heartily like gamesharks, only if you use them in extreme cases, stuck beyond guide help. if there are going to be online gamesharks i wont be there, that would take the level playing field away.
