I finally broke down and moved my old thread (Thread 71625) over to this section, since it transformed from a simple request to an actual collection.

This thread is my attempt to create a central location for Dragon Ball Kai music. Having begun airing in April 2009, and ending almost two years later in March 2011, Dragon Ball Kai (Dragon Ball Z Kai here in North America) had many CDs released during that period. However, due to the sheer amount of CDs there were most, if not all the music, took forever to get online, and in addition to that, they were all over the place.

Therefore, I've attempted to organize all the music in one easy location for your needs!

UPDATE: Despite having been canceled at the end of the Cell saga, Dragon Ball Kai returned in April 2014 to finish airing the Buu saga. With its return, new music became available. As they're requested, I'll do my best to add them to here.

This version actually comes from "Season One, Part 2" Z Kai DVD release. It turns out FUNi is going to have a new VA recored a new version for each release. That's pretty cool.

Nope. I don't think one even exists (though it'd be great if it did!).

Vic's version has been TV-broadcast only, which means it really is that short, since the opening animation (as well as the song) in the U.S. is shorter than the Japanese version.

The next OST has been released! For those who just can't wait for the CD to get online, Amazon Japan (http://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B003VQ31LU/) has a bunch of sound samples. I'm so happy that the track "Ominous Slience" is going to be released! That's one of my favorite tracks.

It looks like history is repeating itself with DBKAI ost's.... same a last year with OST2... it took months before someone finally realeased it... I hope it will get faster this time!

Only thing is... Where did it come from? Because every copy I've found so far has come from the same upload - the one that was posted here months ago, in exceedingly poor quality. A lot of folk have got hold of it and re-encoded it at 320kbps... but it's still the same poxy rip.

Is yours by any chance, a genuine rip at -V0? If so, may I please kiss your hand and buy you a bunch of cyber-flowers? :D

The sound looks pretty clear on my files.

But now I don't remember if I reconverted from something to -V0, or if it came like this.

I know it's annoying to bump threads, but I can't access the Dragonball Kai albums.

I've got all three Kai soundtracks and the complete song collection all in lossless FLAC format but don't know when I'll have time to upload due to already uploading stuff elsewhere.

I also have DB Kai Vol. 1 LE CD (with OP/ED Singles included -- It's a fat pack) which is still sealed and as much as I want to open it, I won't. Like it as it is. :) I was actually lucky because I didn't expect this, Japanese sellers for ya. ^_^
