Am I doing something wrong? I assume Ironhide was able to download it, but every time I refresh the page, or restart my browser, it still don't work.

sometimes you have to refresh for a longer time, the link is valid. It is one of the flaws of MU, sometimes up to one day the link remains 'not available' at that moment.

Sometimes it helps refreshing in short intervalls, sometimes it helps to leave it alone for an hour or longer, but eventually you will get this link

:)

if the link was down, the file would not be found. 'not available' means it is still there.

The score overall is meh, but I'm sorry, Rabin's re-orchestrated version of Paul Dukas' brilliant work is bloody terrible.

It sounds like a five year old did this, really. Not to mention his synths are so painfully cheap sounding all I can do is laugh. It sounds like it should belong in an episode of the Rugrats, spoofing that music. Not to mention the film looks terrible as well and is going to flop harder than even Prince Of Persia could manage.

Thanks. Yeah, it finally worked for me.

Im looking forward to this movie. Will it hit number one? No. By sunday I expect the top three to be 1)Inception 2) Despicable Me or Apprentice 3)Which ever of the two is not in second.

Yup the Dukas was massacred.

Thanks a lot for providing this!

Too bad it sounds on the level with video game music, perhaps even less quality than most major game scores made these days. What the heck? Score sounds like a rehash of every Zimmer and pals score trope to date.

I agree. Whilst I may not be Zimmer's biggest admirer, far from it actually, I admire his ability to be able to adapt his sound and talent to what is relevant today.

Rabin on the other hand seems to be stuck in 1995, and his sound from that period simply doesn't work today. The producers passing his scores through need some serious educating. I know I would be rejecting Rabin here, even if I was the biggest fan of the RC sound on the planet. He's one of few RCP composers around today who simply isn't suitable anymore for these types of pictures and should just go back to making music with his band to avoid further embarrassment.

Finally got around to opening it and it says it won't open? It's a .ace file? Ive never heard of this kind of file. I'm on a Mac, is there some way to change it?

You need to rename the file, adding .rar and then do the necessary extraction.

IndyandMarion

Ah. I figured that was what I needed to do but I figured I'd check, thanks!

I must be missing something. I renamed it, added .rar and when I extracted it, it said no files to extract.

Strange. It worked first time for me with WinRAR. I renamed it to The Sorcerer's Apprentice.rar if that helps.

My computer does it automatically though, unless the file is already assigned to a program, then I would have to disable "Hide extensions for known files types" in order for the change to be recognised. You may need to do something like that.

Rabin's music is refreshing and entertaining. It doesn't have to be shiny and perfect and it seems he had fun making the score.
