I have managed to get a hold of a music composing software, and I've made my first track. I know you can't get much realism with synth and such, but here it is, I'd like your opinions so I can become a better composer! Enjoy!

If you liked it, though, that means I'm doing something right and I'll take requests, if not, I'll keep working at it, but requests won't be taken, only suggestions.

Its really not bad at all, some high quality samples like stormdrum and spectrasonics should do the trick.

Thanks! I'll look into that.

Wow, for being your first track it's really good! :) Reminds me a bit of Glover. Keep it up.

It feels like it's missing a little something though....... just one more element.....

Well thank you! Hopefully I'll keep doing well.

I do agree, there is something I should add... just don't quite know what, though...

The one thing I think I can say to definitely do is try adding some reverb, if you have a plugin to do that. I don't think it feels all that much like it's missing something, but if you could come up with another section, another chord progression to put in there, it could make it feel that much more complete.

So this is your first composition. Unusual and interesting rhythm. How much musical experience do you have?

Well I've listened to music pretty much all my life, but I've been paying close attention to the movie scores since late 2008, around the time dark knight came out. Ever since then I've edited and put together tracks from movie scores, but I've only been playing around with this music program for maybe the past 3 days.

So that sounds like you're saying you don't play any instruments. Is that right?

Ooooh.... no acually I've been playing keyboard on and off for maybe 6 years, and I just started playing guitar in march.

Ah, okay. I was gonna say, if you just downloaded software and went at it then you're a serious goddamn natural.
