Hello there! For the longest time I have had an interest in Video Game Music and for countless years have collected soundtracks, got songs off of friends, and surfed the web for MP3s of hundreds of video game tunes. I am one of the few people I know that has game music on my ipod and when I found this forum I hoped this would be the perfect place to find some lost gems.

For those of you on youtube you may know my list of My Top 100 VG Tunes ( one of the first users to rank video game music) and my current list of Other Good VG Tunes.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UJGolRnoCc
Here's an example

I greatly appreciate anyone who can find me files of the following tunes to add to my lists:

Dragon's Lair Soundtrack ( Super Nintendo)- This is hard as hell to find and the title theme is one of the most memorable. I wouldn't mind having the entire OST but the Title Theme is the one I've been hunting for.

Jellyfishing ( Spongebob Squarepants Revenge of the Flying Dutchman)- This catchy melody is from a very rare gamecube title to find nowadays. Don't worry if you can't find this one. Still, a nice one to have.

Battle 3 (RPG Maker 2000)- Heard it once and fell in love with it. An intense theme indeed.

Password ( Super Castlevania IV)- A short but intense melody that seems to be missing from the main soundtrack.

And that's about it! Thanks to anyone who even attempts and good luck!

You probably already know this, but there are programs that can convert YouTube videos to mp3s (I think Dirpy (http://dirpy.com/) is well-respected). So you could always search for the highest quality versions of those songs on YT and download them. It's not an ideal solution, but if no one here has something you're looking for, and it's on YouTube (Castlevania's "Password" is, at least), that'll work.

Any of them work for Mac? I had one back when I used a PC ( can't remember the name of it for the life of me.

Dirpy's just an online program. All you have to do is paste in the url and tell it where to download the mp3. It should work with all computers, right?

Are any of these the song you're looking for (in case it goes by more than one name)?
Jellyfish Jam (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3TiE1SMzj0)
Jellyfish Rodeo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QT1W78nxaTo)
Jelly Fields (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHeUcqtijv8)
Catch of the Day (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NZcBqXW9Zo)

Nope, the song is from the PS2/Gamecube version and plays when you put on the Jellyfishing gear. It's very harmonious.

Here's a Let's Play that has pretty good audio (and doesn't have commentary): parts 1 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzltUf7KPVw), 2 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAXmSyCkRXM), 3 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JpE1BzXTqf0), 4 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7RTXsj2zQA), 5 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QXST-iAAyq8), 6 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBqt-vmdODE&feature=related).

If the song appears in one of these videos, you can always download the audio track with Dirpy, open it in Audacity (a free program), and then export just the part with the song you want as an mp3.

That's more of a long shot. Obviously, you'd want at least one full loop of the song without sound effects or dialogue. But it's worth a try. Maybe it's in there.
