I'm very new to wii game music ripping, but understand it. I have opened xenoblade in wiiscrubber and there is no sound/bgm/stream folder but there is a folder "ev" it has a folder "realtime" and in this folder is a ton of .adx, .sfd and .rev I have extracted the entire 1st partition (data) and the .adx play in winamp with the appropriate plug in. .sfd plays fine and is a cut scene of some sort and .rev shows up as winRar recovery. Is it possible that this game does not have the music "streaming" or its combined with the cut scenes or something?

Very new to this please do not bash.

Thanks.

PS the adx files all play but are cut scene audio pretty funny actually.

Yeah the alternating .rev and .adx files seem to be the cutscene audio (possibly the rev files contain the video data? I dunno). I was trying to do this myself last night and hit the same problem. The snd.pkb file isn't very big either (38mb) so I doubt they're in there, I'd think the music would be stored as adx files in adx.pkb (about a gig in size).

The only problem is, I don't have a clue what a pkb file is or how to open it. Google's proved massively unhelpful on this.

I looked into the .pkb files and no luck with "unpacking" adx.pkb. Google searching lead me to some old ps2 topics on the same idea and a few tools but none of them proved to work.

I'm not going to give up just yet tho I'm going to keep trying things because I hate giving up this easy ;)

Edit: I ran the adx.pkb through a program called "filestripper" and while I did get alot of "Invalid MPEG Stream at XXXXX" it attempted to pull a few MP3 files but failed.
