Using the methods described here: Thread 69234
the files are extracted directly from the Wii ISO. While technically a "game rip," this should be higher quality than usual ones.

All the music files have been ripped and placed in the folder with the conversion tools. Simply click on the .bat file and it will convert all the files to WAV's. This will make them very large, but playable on just about anything. So you should use some audio conversion program to convert them to .ogg, .mp3, flac, etc.

The files have a Project Rate of 32000Hz, which is lower than the 44100 used in CD's. I'm not sure how to change this in other programs but in Audacity you can click a drop down tab and change it to 44100, when you export the file as an .mp3 or w/e it will automatically do the conversion to get it at 44100.

Keep in mind, these are the 6-10 minute versions used in the game, not the shortened counterparts used for the OST (Which, if there is enough interest, I'll upload too).

Because of the size of the folder, I've uploaded it into 4 parts, each with its own set of conversion tools.

OMG! Thank you sooooo much! I just have one question. When I do try to convert into the playable WAV file it only converted one of the tracks. How do I get it to convert the rest of them in Part 4? I did what you said in clicking the BAT file but the first one only got converted.

Man, I've really been waiting for Ada's and Wesker's tracks the longest! Thanks for doing these!

Huh, that didn't happen with me. Try downloading one of the others and moving all the .brstm files from part 4 into one of the others.

I was really only interested in Wesker's theme from Beginnings because it's different than "Live Evil" on the OST. But other UC rip/ost threads had people asking for the theme from Rebirth so I decided to upload the whole thing.

Since it lowers the volume of the music when people talk or during cutscenes, a direct rip was the best way to fix that problem. It's just lucky that there was a thread with the proper tools for it.

Darkside Chronicles is being worked on if anybody's interested.

Well, Hunk's theme on the OST is sort of a mix of the Hunk and Hunk_HiTension files with a little extra sound editing done to it. Kinda like how Beginnings for Wesker became Live Evil on the OST. They took the gerneral idea of the music and added a little pizzazz to it. So while the game's versions are loops, they're longer before they reach that looped interval, sound fairly different, and some of them are a little more random with the sounds than the OST variations. Besides, there is no Hunk_Silent on the OST. So if somebody was desperate for it, even if it isn't that great without the game sound effects blocking out half the sounds, they could still have it for a listen.

Well, if you can use a torrent and have winrar, you could yourself. Just download the whole tool set from the thread I linked, download the wii iso of the game (the .bat file may or may not support the gamecube music filetypes, but the wiiscrubber is for wii iso's, not gamecube ones, so you'd have to find a different tool), extract with winrar, load into the wii scrubber and extract the audio files.

Or I suppose if you could find a descently seeded torrent I could do it....
