Hi!

I'm hoping someone here can help fulfill this unique request.

I'd like a Sound Effect (not music, I already have their music! This stuff's a bit harder to convince people to get a hold of :) Except for a GoW3 gamerip, no one's done that yet...) dump of any of the following games if possible;

Any of the God of War titles
Any of the XenoSaga Titles
Any of the Final Fantasy titles from 7 upwards.
Dante's Inferno
Ninja Gaiden: Sigma 2

I am organizing a very large database of sound effects from an assortment of games for use in non-profit private mod projects for games such as Age of Wonders 2. I would very much like to get my hands on a dump of any sort from these games, either in individual files or a single large file if necessary as I can cut it apart myself manually.

I am primarily after things like weapon impacts, swings, ambiance, spells, monster/character sounds, and dialogue if possible as I can cut those into suitable sizes for mods as well.

I'll accept any standard format, such as wav, mp3, or ogg. Something I can open in Audition.

Thanks!

I did some research on ripping as I don't exactly have high hopes of getting a response about this, but it seems this subject has been intentionally made very difficult to get into.

My initial goal was to get the SFX out of God of War, but the furthest I got was two utilities asking for part2.pak that I don't see on the DVD. I can only assume that this is a dual layer dvd and none of the iso tools they have can actually see the second layer.

I have PSound, a utility that can supposedly handle most of the internal sound formats, I just can't get at them.

I couldn't find anything related to .pad files on Soul Calibur 2 at all. :\

I'm really, REALLY hoping someone here will help an old fool out.

I could only help with Final Fantasy VII...

I don't remember where I've got this pack, nor do I know if it's complete.... Anyway, it's a start, I suppose.

All of my efforts to understand ripping myself have thus far failed. If there is anyone out there who reads this and knows how to do it, I can do no more but hope for your assistance.

Still nothing? No replies on the ripping forum about the games or tools, either. I'm not surprised or anything but that doesn't make it any less bitter.
