First time I'd ever heard of this was when people mentioned how The Last Battle for the Genesis was supposed to be an adaptation of this anime. It wasn't until two or three years ago that I finally got a chance to read the series, and I have been relentless in reading the whole story. I certainly understand why it's held in such high regard by most any anime fan.

Fave characters have to be Toki, Kenshiro and Jyuza for sure, though most every one of the main characters has my respect in some form or another.

Yes, this series is awesome. Loved the manga and anime, but was a little disappointed by the game.

The game for the 360 is pretty good.

It's one of the best anime series ever made, it started all what a few years later Saint Seiya or Dragon Ball were all about... It started a whole genre, the idea of using a romantic plot similar to The Count of Monte Cristo in the begining and then including more and more mythical metaphores, just awesome, the movies for the 25th anniversary are also great!

great series, the last arc of Excel Saga is a tribute HNK.

Souten no Ken/ Fist of the Blue Sky is great as well

i have to confess i have NOT seen this, not entirely.

my first introduction to the series was the game black belt on sega master system (even tho they basically put ken into a karate gi, the first stage theme always sounded like it was saying "fist of the north star" in the first stage theme). when i finally got to see the movie 7 years later, it was a wrap! i was a fan for life. when i finally got to see the series in its entirety, i was good.

i'm heated because i still haven't had a chance to play the dynasty warriors version of the same yet. the demo was on point.
