So was that AFTER cleyra or IN Cleyra?
I had no problems going in. What is your version of epsxe and what plugins are you using?

Just to clarify the problem is that when you enter Cleyra off of the world map you a short scene of the characters talking, then they walk off the screen. The screen goes dark but wind noises continue. What should happen is that after the characters walk off screen it should fade into a cutsence where it shows Cleyra. (Cant say more about the cutscene without spoiling anything)

I had the same problem and luckily found a solution:
Basicly there is a error with ff9's save data. To get to/past Cleyras introduction movie you need have loaded from a memory card save not a ePSXe save state. (Just call up the moogle on the world map with sqaure. Save. Then restart with ePSXe. Let the game load. Continue. Load your save. Enter Cleyra Problem should be solved!)

Hopefully this helps
