It's the same sound team that worked on Portable Ops and the AC!D series. Amazing music, Norihiko Hibino, Jeremy Soule (composer of Elder Scroll games) and Todd Haberman (composer of Army of Two) all contribute music as well. I'd say it's in the top three Metal Gear OSTs ever, right after MGAC!D2 and MGS1, for me.

You'll never hear that song again due to the fact that the melody was too close to a classical piece of music. Konami got contacted by license holders a few years back about the theme and since have chosen to have the MGS theme changed. Which is why in MGS4 the song is not heard at all.

I have to say, the main theme is pretty kick ass. The rest of the music is so delicious aswell.

Has anyone done a gamerip as there's a few songs that don't appear on this soundtrack that are in the game. One of them being 20 years of Metal Gear that you have the option of listen to with your walkman.

Does anyone know if there's an mp3 of the weird song of what sounds like a vocaloid girl singing when one of the UMAs flies by? I just started playing the other day, so I don't know the names of the UMAs yet. Everytime that song starts playing, everyone in the room is like, "WTH is that?!!"

Just finished playing the peace walker segment of the game and I gotta say...Kojima did a fine job here! The story and soundtrack is absolutely epic in proportion for a typical psp! Thanks for the OST friend ^^

I think the Vocaloid sung by Pupa and Chrysalis is part of the "Zero Allies!" track, but its slower and arranged differently.

... If I had a PSP I would try to rip it or record it myself... Oh well, bad luck indeed :\
