These get requested ALL the time so I just decided to make this thread.
Here you will find all the soundtracks to each of the ROCKY movies. The
quality being offered is Lossless FLAC and 320 CBR MP3. Take your pick
or download both if you want.

IMPORTANT NOTE
As of now all the soundtrack are here except ROCKY V so if you
have this CD please post a Lossless FLAC rip (with LOG / CUE).

Also if you have any other ROCKY related soundtracks or pictures
or information about the movies etc. please feel free to post!

That simply removes the onus on forum members to Look.

There's something very, very odd with the first Rocky Soundtrack and the Rocky Balboa compilations: In the Rocky Original Soundtrack, track 1 "Gonna Fly Now", there is a small pop near the end of the track. This pop is not a rip error, since it is present in EVERY version I've downloaded (MP3, FLAC, Torrent, etc.) so far. Meanwhile, on the Rocky Balboa compilation, track 3 "Gone The Distance", there's a kind of whisper or breath right in the begining, between the first and second bell sound. Again, it's present in every rip I've checked. Is it something present on the actual CDs? Kind of a mistery to me...

Or acually I second that request! I can't burn/split the FLAC files without too much struggle and would like the missing ones scores. Can anyone re-up these, please?

I would recommend Medieval Cue Splitter. I used that and it wasn't a big deal. I would help, but I encoded them to Nero AAC at highest bitrate. And only one and six.

A word of advice: for the ape files, you're gonna need THIS (http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?4mc8cr5cu9cjil1). It's the dll that allows Medieval Cue Splitter to split APE files. Just unzip it to MCE directory where the exe is and restart. You're welcome! ;D

yeah, I noticed the problems, as well.
I'm not aware of them being present on the actual CDs.. (that would be very strange)

I think it's the best one. I read about a bit it and it seems to be better. Nope, but I would like it.. Maybe someone here has it and could share it? I'm gonna do a quick search for it, if I find it i'll post it here.

Well, maybe I was a little obsessed with the mistakes I found, but nevertheless that made me open those tracks in Adobe Audition and try to find a way to correct them. And I did it!

On track one of the 1976 soundtrack, I managed to zoom in all the way and discover a little gap that took me some tries to delete properly, but managed to.

On track three of the Best of Rocky compilation, the 'win' whisper or whatever the hell was that in the middle of the first bell sound was a little more trickier, since it intersects with the music. So I took the second bell sound and found the exact points that could be used to overlap the first. Again, with a little work, it was done.

Probably all this could be avoided by swapping the tracks from each recording, but spectral and volume analysis showed differences between each track. I'm guessing the compilation have "remastered" versions or something, so I preferred to avoid sound inconsistencies by working on each file. All the editing was done from FLAC and re-encoded on FLAC, so I want to believe the process was "lossless". If not, well, this must do in the meanwhile.
