...I'm not sure how to take this, but I'll treat it as follows(politely, so no one freaks out).

I seriously think you're SOL, buddy. You ARE aware that the going price for Suikoden 2 is $100, correct? Cheapest you can find (with JUST the disk) is around $40-$60, whereas a mint condition copy will run around $200 at least...worse if bidding gets crazy (which it often does on Ebay).

Also, I don't think people would be willing to sell their copy because...well, it's a fun game. I could sell mine, but I enjoy playing it from time to time, and I'm reasonably sure that others feel the same way.

Even all of that aside, I dunno if this is the best place to ask for a game to buy (I could be wrong). Most of us here love our games and plan to be buried with them (maybe it's just me, lol), so...yeah.

Who knows though, you might get lucky. A better bet for you however, would be Amazon or Ebay...and bring a lot of money.

If you don't want to pay through the nose, there's always emulation...

I think suikoden 2 has the greatest story out of all the games i played.

Like ChazA4 suggested, best place is to try Ebay/Amazon. However, you may want to have a look in local second hand stores/swap meets/etc. You may be surprised by what you find there and the price.

Some games do appreciate in price over time. Last I checked a copy of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night sold on Ebay.com.au for roughly 180$AUSD (That was a month ago, and judging from the picture, cracked case and manual tacked together with adhesive tape...). Legaia 2 Dual Saga on the PS2 goes for a large amount on Ebay as well, around 250$AUSD last time I checked (got my replacement copy at a swap meet for 10$AUSD lol).

I got mine used PAL ver, with everything in very good condition, for less than 10 Euro. The only problem was that game is completely in french, but for such a price I would buy it even if it was in Zulu language:D

So if language is not a problem or you've played it in eng and you just want to own it materially, I would suggest searching through local, less popular, even non eng auction sites. I know that Suikoden II was released also in german and italian...

I have a copy. If you don't get it from your friend I guess. And don't mind a booklet that shows "someone put the booklet into the CD case incorrectly and decided their error could be fixed with force" wear. I'm planning to sell most of my RPG collection and rebuy the few games I want to keep in Japanese

What games do you have for sale, please list all, I am interested.

Not too many now, just a few PS games: the Suikodens, Tactics Ogre, Valkyrie Profile, Thousand Arms, Persona 1(disc only) and 2, and... I still have a Chrono Trigger cart too.

If you're playing games 1&2 back to back (as you should) try to go with the PAL releases. NTSC Suikoden II has a lot more bugs than euro version, like a songnumber being just complete silence for a minute.

I'm just annoyed Suikoden III wasn't released here in AUS.
