So, I just started playing FFX for the 3rd time a couple days ago due to loss of 40 hour data along with all the secret things I unlocked in the game and realized that I never once played blitzball. I can see why. I totally suck at it. I wanted to start getting my blitzball players leveled up early in the game so I won't fall behind and Wakka can get some new overdrives sooner. However, I know the basics of the game and the way it's played but I find it so difficult to win because nearly all of the the opposing teams' stats are so much higher than mine. It's really frustrating. I tried a couple exhibition games to get better but in that mode you can't get any experience. I've thumbed through the strategy guide a bit and all it seems to talk about are the basics of blitzball with very few tips. Can you guys help me out?

you need to find mega awesome players later on, but most of them don't come in until very far in the game. Basically just pass to Tidus all the time was what I did and he scored every shot, so it was just a matter of getting the ball to Tidus until I got better players. Also occasionaly some good players don't get their contracts renewed and get replaced by crap players so buy those good ones that are already leveled. The rest is just practice

After the blitzball tournament you should have returned to Luca and do some scouting. It's enough to recruit Jammal and Wedge to make your team strong.

its the kind of game where once you find a strategy that works, you can just keep using it over and over and over and never fail.

my strategy is when you get the ball from the centre start, go backwards and 3 players from the other team will follow you. quickly pass up to tidus, run up to the goal, doesnt matter if you get 2 defenders on ya, jecht shot. goal.

THATS MY TACTIC! But it gets harder as all the other teams level up all their players and its just Tidus (and sometimes Letty) that level up on your team. Thats why you need to get Brother as well as soon as you can, and buy non-wanted players from other teams.

Also something I forgot to mention before - If you see a player that could be awesome but your to lazy to level them up, buy them anyway so another team doesn't get them!
