There is a game I used to experience during my childhood, that had some musical scores that always made me hum while playing it. Its tracks were of heavy rock style and could transmit a very unique feel of a futuristic world.

This game's name is Phantom 2040, for the Genesis system. Is anybody out there who could upload its soundtrack here? It would be much appreciated.

Phantom 2040 had an AMAZING FUCKING SOUNDTRACK. It was dynamic,too,like in X-Men 2. Well,not that dynamic,but whole sections and layers of the track would change depending on whether or not you were in a story-relevant area. =)

Hell,the whole game was fucking amazing. It's such a damn shame it's so ignored;I've never even seen a rip anywhere.

Ohhhhhmmmmmmm............ I'm makin' progress ^___^ The way I've found to do it isn't exactly ripping, more like directly recording. So since this game doesn't have a sound test menu I have to go and play through the game :p I've gotten pretty lucky so far in being able to find still areas where I won't pick up any other sfx. I've gotten a good start with 7 tracks :) The rest of this project is definitely going to take some time though, but I'm gettin' it. ^___^

Yup, I'm definitely making some progress :) I just got a start on chapter 2. I gotta say, so far this game is actually pretty decent. I've been cheating a little by watching a lp on youtube because I get lost/stuck easily in games like these :p I'm really hoping I'm getting every piece of music there is, because I'm recording every new bit I hear........... still gonna take a long while to record everything though :p Patience....... I like to think I has it. :p

The OP wanted the Genesis version so that's the one I'm doing :) It doesn't seem like there's any real way to rip the music from the game, but the only way I've found is an emulator that has a video and audio recording feature. So that's what I'm going with :)

Quick update - I have 19 tracks recorded. Just finished recording the tracks for chapter 4 :) 3 chapters left to go. I'm going to take some liberties with these recordings. I'm going to have clean starts to the tracks, fade the ends, and raise the volume. One track from chapter 4, for some odd reason or another, has a small blip type of sound in the middle of the end/start of the loop. I find it highly annoying and I'm surprised it's there given the cleanness of the rest of the tracks, so I'm going take a liberty on that one and silence that blip sound :)

I have to play through chapter 4 tomorrow so I can get to chapter 5 since I can't find the password for that chapter :p
