Thanks Major.Dump!

So after some decent listening, I have to say this is a pretty good score. Though, for a RTS? Odd. Sound's like the composers were making it for a tv series. Over all, really good.

Much like the game itself, the OST is completely different then what you'd hear in previous C&C games.
Unlike the game though, the OST is actually excellent.

I was never adamant about EA ruining Command and Conquer ever before, but now I can finally say... EA ruined Command and Conquer.

I don't think Frank knows how to make a Command and Conquer score anymore, did you hear the crap he had in Red Alert 3 and Uprising? Heavy Metal garbage. I thought the FFTL Hell March was infinitely better than his Hell March 3.

RA3 was utter crap, I also thought (maybe) the songs were goin to be 'good' since Frank came back, but he only made 1 or 2 in the game which were lame.

I blame EA... bring back WestWood studios!

He is still better than whoever composed this soundtrack garbage.

Damn, this really does sound like it was made for a TV series. It's not bad, has its moments and stuff, definitely be listening to it later, but! But it has nothing on RA1.

I guess it's like Jeremy Soule's Total Annihilation soundtrack. It might be decent on a stand-alone basis, but it's just ridiculous whenever I hear it in the game.

I mean... damn. I'm not sure exactly what I just heard. I mean, this score is all over the place. Lets just say that if you wouldn't know the name of this score, you would think that this is for a movie or a TV series or something like that. The fact that this piece has three different composers only adds up to the randomness of this score. I mean it is partially a horror score? Action? I don't know what the fuck is going on... There is no theme no tune, pretty much nothing to hang on or remember about this piece of shit. Okay, ok. Tim Wynn composed some decent tracks, but then they use screaming vocals over them.

About Frank. I believe that this is exactly what they wanted for Tiberian Twilight, and they got it. If they really wanted Frank do the composing all they needed to do is to call Frank and ask. "Look we want that RA1 shit in here". Frank would be on that. "I'm on it motherfucker", "consider it done motherfucker". And that would be it, Frank would've come up with some awesome tracks. The fact that you can pretty much slap any of Franks albums over this one and that would make this instantly better. Tells you everything you need to know about Franks ability to compose for C&C title.

Best track is definitely, The End of all Things. Kind of fucking ironic...

I don't know, I don't have the game, but it has been hammered by reviews. I don't think this is all, maybe we need a rip... but I doubt it...

Anyway. As far as I know it they are about to end this series. So, Rest In Peace C&C series. After Red Alert 1 it has been a long and fucking miserable downhill from a game that I consider to be THE best real time strategy game ever. And it's not like I'm old or something, I'm not even 30. And fuck new school! Yeah I fucking said it.

Ah that's a bit harsh Ruff. Frankly I think this is one of the better Command and Conquer soundtracks ever made. The Horror/Action element is a bit jarring I know, that'd be Jason "Dead Space" Graves for you. But Hannigan's brilliant on the first track "To Save Humanity" and on "The Prophet's Ascension". If you take it for what it is, this is a very good Science Fiction score to a genre that has become Sci-Fi.

I have to agree with what others are saying, sounds like a movie score to me.

It's not that great, some good tracks in there, but i wouldn't give it a second listen.

I have to say, I think this is a rather good surprise. I never did have much love for C&C from a musical perspective. I always did abhor techno. The only exception was anything from The Matrix, for some strange reason. The fact that it was a mixture of techno and grand orchestra most likely had something to do with it.

As you can guess, I really do like this score. In my opinion, the music by Hannigan and Graves are the best. I felt that the ones that mixed electronica with orchestral were very weak.

Overall, this is a good score if you are not looking for electronica / rock and roll music. This is a great deal different from Klepaki's works, and personally, I'd say that is for the best.

Nothing wrong with this score. Maybe not what you expected from the series. But a great orchestral score.

Honestly, I was surprised by the soundtrack. I was expecting the same things as Tiberium Wars. Needs more than one listen to get all the elements.
