There were probably just a lot of Sony fans at that place, so of course they'd boo something they don't like. There's probably people out there who massively boo Sony products while at a convention or whatever that was.

Some people take their hobbies very seriously. But i can't understand why some people take Final Fantasy so seriously? I can understand that with the MagaTen series... (because is fucking awesome) but with Final Fantasy? Oh well, To each their own i guess.

MegaTen* = Megami Tensei (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Megaten) series... it's a pretty big RPG franchise and pretty good.

I know what the Megami Tensei series is, as I do own Persona. It's the third known rpg series from Japan, behind Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy.

However Yggdrasil_404, only used the abbreviated form and with bad spelling.

Persona shouldn't be allowed to be called a Megaten game. Besides, give him a fucking break, he typed an a instead of an e. Big deal.

I wasn't harassing that guy over the mispelling. I never heard of Megami Tensei being referred to as 'MegaTen', hence my momentarily confusion in regard to that.

I dont think whether you like it or not should make that decision. It has that in its title and is therefore a MegaTen game whether you like it or not.

It is how it is. Also before you make judgements of me, I haven't played it so I'm not stating whether I like it or not, It just has that in the title and is by the same developer and as such is part of the overall series.

This is kinda sad.

I mean both the PS3 and Xbox 360 are fantastic consoles for different reasons and they both have their strengths and weaknesses and to be honest, FFXIII runs smooth and looks fantastic on either console.

I know that from my previous posts here in other threads, I come across as hating the PS3. I honestly can't be bothered with it. If there were some games on it I enjoyed, then I'd probably would be more tolerant of it and those who rave about it. From my personal experience though, no games on it that I enjoy and the Blu Ray DVD... w/e.

I imagine you grow a goatee and work out, love games like gears of war, and halo as well, and spend most of your time gaming online with college residence bros.

I am sorry but put simply I imagine you might look rather a lot like the guy in your avatar, minus scars, and probably a beer gut, a short wife, and no children...

Completely agree with this statement. Well, both being awesome gaming consoles anyway.

I've seen some comparisons, and it looks like it runs a little smoother on Sony's console. And the fact that it's on one BluRay instead of 3 DVDs doesn't hurt it either.

Before people start to jump on me for being a PS3 fanboy, I own both consoles. I can see the merits of both systems, but when a game goes multiplatform, I'm usually the first to grab the 360 version. Why? .......'Cause I'm an achievement whore. That's why. Blame Microsoft for coming up with an addictive way to play a game.

As far as the whole console war thing goes.. I blame Sega and Nintendo for starting this mess.

Why can't we just enjoy games for being what they are? Why does it have to matter on what system it's on? The whole thing is fucking stupid if you ask me. I still can't believe that this is what the gaming community has turned into.

PS: Gran Turismo 5 will be....awesome.
