Well, the battle music has a sort of hard-rock feel to it...if you've played Guilty Gear, than you know what I'm talking about. Most people on these forums have described the music as "fantasy rock" because while there is a lot of guitar and rock based stuff in there, there are also tracks that have nice piano and other instruments to separate themselves.

Sorry if I'm talking in circles, but it's very hard for me to describe. It's a very mixed bag between the battle songs and the story musics. It's great stuff, though. :)

Oh and no problem about the host. Of course, I'd provide mirrors if they were ever necessary...maybe I should add that to the first post...

I've got that too.

"Cloudy" is corrupted and doesn't get unpacked in the file. That sometimes happens with Mediafire. If you can upload only that one song, it'd be awesome.

There's a couple of songs with wrong tags, one of the vocal tracks from Song Accord had it's tags swapped with something else(don't remember what specifically, as I fixed it a few days ago).

And something that I just realized, "Ao-iconoclast ~INSTRUMENTAL~" was nothing like the regular version of the song, so I tried to find an explanation, and with a bit of google's help I found it.
The song you included is actually "PIGEON-the green-ey'd monster ~INSTRUMENTAL~", which was from the same single, but has nothing to do with BlazBlue.

Well, the first situation that you described I believe I noted in the first post. The second situation I had no idea about. Thanks for telling me about that.

EDIT: Now that I look at my files, I see how that happened. The person that actually posted Kotoko's single had their tags mixed up and Ao-iconoclast's instrumental verson was tagged as the pigeon song.

Well, i try googling and found some links in torrent like blazblue #1 with continuum shift in FLAC but the download process is so slow. I already downloaded the KOTOKO version in FLAC and got a link to rapidshare to download consumer edition version in FLAC but i don't know if there any tracks that i don't have the links yet. Maybe next time I'll try to upload them and post the links in here.

Of course; I would imagine that among fans, it would still count as Blazblue music, therefore it would actually be pretty appropriate for me to include it in the compilation ;)

There actually is no track 9; that was just my ineptitude. I skipped 9 when I was numbering the tracks...I guess because I don't like the number nine? You could re-number the disc 3 tracks, because I don't see that as a good reason to reupload the entire thing. As far the second thing...well, there is no disc 5. Did you mean disc 4? And even then, when I was going through the tracks in Winamp, they played fine...

Ah, I see. See, there are 4 discs to the album, but when I zipped it, it was broken up into 6 parts due to the file size I chose. There's nothing wrong with the album; you have 4 out of 4 discs.

Thanks, awesome soundtrack set. However, I was going through the track lists to look for possible errors and I noticed that on Disc 1, you have Childish Killer on there twice and X-matic is missing.

Yeah, I found them, that's why I put "strike all of that" in my reason for editing. Apparently, I hadn't scrolled all the way down when I was numbering the tracks and they were buried under the jpeg covers.

EVERYTHING is from officially released albums and I didn't really organize anything according to the album it came from. As far as discs are concerned, Disc 1 contains all of the battle tracks, disc 2 contains all story tracks, disc 3 contains all vocal tracks and their instrumental versions along with credits themes and other miscellaneous stuff, and disc 4 is the Blazblue in L.A. Vocal Album.

Wow, this is awesome, thanks a lot, cat person! I found this just as I was about to go searching for all the different albums. Though, uh, there is a problem with the download links. Part 4 and part 6 give file not found errors after requesting a ticket and hitting download. And I imagine since these are segmented rars it won't unpack properly if there's parts missing... I tried with both Firefox and Chrome so it's not a browser issue (thought that doesn't exactly prove it's not an issue on my end). Any help would be appreciated!

Edit: Nevermind, tried the links again and they worked just fine! That was weird. Maybe they have an indirect sort of "you're downloading too many files at once" thing going on. Can't wait to give this all a listen.

Yes, it is the English version; I wasn't even aware there were JP versions of the LA mixes.

This principle applied in every anime soundtrack, japanese franchise game OST/BGM's, etc. (And its like Manga > Anime xD). But, some tracks are still gorgeous!

Yeah, if the OST is changed for a Japanese game for another territory (Sonic CD), it's usually the JP ver. (AKA the original version) that comes out on top.

Hate to burst your bubble, but Mediafire has slapped a nice limit on segmented zip files such as yours. Sometimes this makes redownloading even one part virtually impossible.

I have to say however that I had the same problem on mediafire. For some reason the part 1 .rar is telling me that it has hit the limit for downloads as well. It was fine on the other one.

I've had...bad experiences with rapidshare. I have no idea if that site has become less aggravating since I last used it. Either way, what exactly is happening when you try to download? I just checked and they seemed to work fine.
