Hey. Im 1st time playing FFVIII and don't know how to recover my characters. Is there any thing like "all chars going to sleep and recover all negative status and HP"? Im at CD 1 in Dollet.

Go to an inn or use a Tent at a save point.
It tells you in the tutorials.

Yea, check if you have any tents or else you'll need to go to a town.
