I came across a blog wherein the author asked himself what his all-time favorite game was, and what his "booty call" game was.

The booty call game is defined as being a sort of "guilty pleasure" game, or a game that you keep going back to play, even though you might get sick of it in short order.

After thinking on this for a while, I determined that my "booty call" game is Civilization IV. I came to this conclusion because it is the game that I've uninstalled and reinstalled the most! That, and MMOs in general.

CLARIFICATION: This is NOT your favorite game of all time. If anything, this likely to be an entirely different genre from what you like the most.

It's a tie.

Diablo II: Lords of Destruction - I will ALWAYS play that game off and on.
Timesplitters: Future Perfect - I always play this when my brother visits, so fun.
Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2: Love to create myself as a skater and tear it up.

I'll play those game for a few hours, then never touch them for a year or so. Definitely my 'booty call' games. :D

Oh god where do I start, well any game that entices me into playing for hours would be my "booty call", I always find myself going back for more FFTactics, Fable, & KOTOR (they never seem to get old to me).

I get sick of RE4 now. I get through the village and I'm like YEAH, DON'T WANNA KEEP GOING :(

But, I never save, so I always want to play the Castle and the Island, but I NEVER DO.

Well you say it shouldn't be my favorite game but for me it is. Hotel Dusk: Room 215 I had bought and sold twice before I decided to just hold onto it. And I've probably played through it about 30-40 times but I always tend to get the craving for it.

Tetris DS. I had that game for over three years now and I still play it on and off, out of boredom.

Jake: "What's a booty call?"
Charlie: "Why don't you ask your dad?"
Jake: "Okay."
Charlie: "Now would probably be a good time."
"Jake gets up to ask*
Charlie: "I'm going to hell..."

Sorry, but no one can say 'booty call' around me without that episode of Two and a Half Men popping into my mind. ANYWAY, to stay on topic, Rumble Roses has already been mentioned, but it's mine as well. Beyond that, Tecmo Super Bowl (NES) is the only other sports game I really enjoy from time to time.

It will most likely be MW2, I will play it on any day I don't have a new game to play.

For me that would be Assasin's Creed. Whenever I don't know what else to play, I just load AC and start playing. It's a quite simple game and lots of fun.

Two games come to mind for my choices:

Dynasty Warriors series - Any game of this series is very simple to play, and is just mindless fun.

Saints Row 2 - Another game which is simple to play, but also the music and voice talent make it quite enjoyable as well.

My booty call game would have to be "Shaiya". I don't even uninstall it because I know that I'll come back at some point. And when I do, I'll be on it for HOURS per day.

Mine would have to be CoD4. I know it's not that old yet, but that's a game I still play all the time even though I have Modern Warfare 2. Maybe I also play it because it's the only game I really am genuinely better then most people at >.>

Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight.

Yeah, it was an AVGN episode.

Honestly, I hadn't even heard of it until the episode.

Of course, like every other game the nerd reviews, I had to try it out, and DAMN! The nerd was right! It was one of the most difficult games I've ever played. It kicks your ass hard, and you love it.

So eventually I beat it.

I dunno why, but I still go back sometimes (maybe once a week?) to play it again. I almost feel silly for spending the time on such an old game that I've already beaten.

Ah well, I guess its my "booty call" game :D

Well........ I was going to say Yoshi's Story, but I don't think I've put enough time on that for it to count. Then I thought HexicHD.... but now that I can't get the harder achievements I just don't care as much.....

But....... I think mine would be Super Mario 64. I can't count how many times I've beaten it. To me it's one of easiest games I have and it always makes me feel like I'm accomplishing something by playing it. It just makes me feel so nostalgic, I love it..... Even though my true nostalgia is brought out with the original Mario on NES....

Probably the Gundam games.

Also, Chrono Cross, I've played and beaten and replayed this game more times than I care to admit.
I know it's not the best RPG ever, not by a long shot, but I just enjoy the game to no end.
