The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks Unofficial Soundtrack



I have to give most my credit to the Zelda Universe for putting most of the soundtrack together. Even though it was said that their version was completely polished it was wrong. I have added two missing songs to their soundtrack and I have renumbered them to the correct order. I will occasionally update the soundtrack if their is still something wrong with it.

Wow it even has the Spirit Tower stairs music :) Although I was hoping for it to start slowly and build up like it does in the game, instead every part starts at the same time :( Oh wells, thanks for the upload. :) It sounds great.

If I was to get the spirit tower stair music with all of it's parts separately I would have to record it from the game with the annoying wind noises in the background. I will think about recording an alternate version though. Thanks for the feedback!

Personally I liked the wind sounds in it. I think it gave it a better sense of epic-ness lending to the build up.

I uploaded a recording from the DS game of the tower of spirits stair5case from bottom to top. I walked very slowly so you can hear the a steady slow clicking noise in the background which is Link walking. Also during the final version of the song you can hear the blue portal thing in front of the door making noise but other than that it is pretty much perfect. I even included the wind at the begging for those who thought it made the song better.

So I'm not sure if I'm making a mistake but obiwanom isn't working for part two when I try to unzip it. Thank you so much for ripping this! Part 1 is great 8D. I would love to have the second part as well ^^;

I wouldn't say it's entirely complete... But most of what's missing is just minor variations, I think... You do seem to have missed out on one of the versions of the Goron Village BGM, though (It has a before and after version just like the Anouki Village BGM), but I think everything else of importance is probably there. I managed to determine a tag for 180 of the tracks (excluding the variations that exist inside the tracks themselves, such as inside/outside versions, Tower of Spirits Staircase, etc., but they all require a level of knowledge to extract which I don't have), but I suspect that most of the additional tracks are just rarely used variations (such as intro-less tracks, etc.), Spirit Flute practice songs and probably a minor fanfare or two.

But you've got my favourite of the streamed tracks (Before the Final Battle), and that's all that really matters! :D

I've been looking for a competent rip of the Spirit Tracks soundtrack since it came out, but so far no luck. The "complete" soundtrack Zelda Universe has is a disgrace to the sound of the original. It sounds completely flat and dead. Compare for instance the underwater theme to how it sounds in the game, or the Fraaz boss theme.

Yeah, It's a shame the sound can't be recreated perfectly. Whenever you convert the DS sound files to MP3s, they're always going to sound a little bit off.

It can be done. All you need is to record the music through some sort of emulator that can reproduce the effects. There are Winamp plugins for that for most consoles, I hope someone will work on that for DS as well.
