Hello,
I was just wondering if anyone has or has come across a promotional score for the HBO tv show "Six Feet Under". I know this wasn't released officially but I love the music. Please let me know if anyone knows or has one. Thank you so much...

He puted 4 cues on his page: richardmarvin.net (http://richardmarvin.net/)

If you are looking for more, try this: Six Feet Under SCORE - TV.com Forums (http://www.tv.com/shows/six-feet-under/forums/six-feet-under-score-2362-727827/)
Unfortunately it contains some dialogues and fx. I guess those cues were ripped from the DVD.

And here's the list of songs from the soundtrack: http://www.u-subtitles.com/Soundtrack-six-feet-under.html

No point in bumping. The 4 cues on the compoer's page are all that there is. Never seen any more, and I have been looking hard at tv stuff.

Pangare, are you saying that this link: Soundtrack Six Feet Under (http://www.u-subtitles.com/Soundtrack-six-feet-under.html)
is the tracklist to the score posted on this link: Six Feet Under: Six Feet Under SCORE - TV.com (http://www.tv.com/shows/six-feet-under/forums/six-feet-under-score-2362-727827/)
?

This is the link to the composer's site, and the 4 tracks of dialogue and fx free score: richardmarvin.net (http://richardmarvin.net/)
This is the link to a site that has bad dvd rips of the score done a number of years ago. With fx and dialogue: Six Feet Under: Six Feet Under SCORE - TV.com (http://www.tv.com/shows/six-feet-under/forums/six-feet-under-score-2362-727827/)
This the link to a site (fairly common type) that exists to document what Various Artists songs were used in which episode of the series: Soundtrack Six Feet Under (http://www.u-subtitles.com/Soundtrack-six-feet-under.html)

I've got a bootleg with 137 tracks - 121 with SFX and 16 without. Someone put a lot of time into recording each cue straight from the DVD's without trying to edit the results. All that work resulted in only 16 tracks without (or slight) background noises. These are the tracks as they are tagged in the boot:

000.Main Theme From Six Feet Under
001.Season 1 Dvd Menu
005.1x02 The Bus
025.1x11 Ruth's Flowers
027.1x12 In Memoriam
029.1x12 Funerals
031.1x13.Running
033.Season 2 Dvd Menu
045.2x06 Sarah
048.2x09 Photos Of Billy
056.2x12 Maya
061.3x08 End
062.3x09 End
065.3x13 Season 3 Finale
115.5x06 Calling All Angels
137.5x12 Richard Marvin - End Credits

You're welcome to those or the whole boot if you prefer, it's only about 130Mb in total. We're going back 3 maybe 4 years so I honestly can't remember where this came from.

Edit:

Just followed Amanda's link and it looks like the same thing. I'll leave it with you.

Three of those track don't count, though. The opening theme, as I recall, was by Thomas Newman, not Marvin. And the DVD menus, unless score from the series, could very likely be specially composed music, as happens with many DVD releases.

Justin, have you ever seen more? I certainly could not find more that what is on his web-site....

Oh, hey. Do you have any idea how to tell what music is available on the site for Michael McCuiston, Lolita Ritmanis, and Kristopher Carter? I will dl it as per requested here, but they are only under generic titles (action, suspense etc), so I just would not know how to determine what project they might be from?

No, I know of no other score for that show by Marvin. I see he removed his e-mail from his website, as well and re-designed it. If his e-mail is still any good, I could always ask him if he'd be interested in putting a little mroe up. I contacted him over a rejected score a few yeasr ago, as well as trying to secure of the Ken Thorne interview (which ended up, surprisingly, not being needed, as Thorne has a Youtube channel).

All I can do for Dynamic Music Partners (I assume you are refering to the seperate site for Karter) is listen to the cues, and compare them against the obscure Ritmanis Film Music promo (no, don't ask for copies -- not allowed) in order to verify some of the tracks.

When I have time. Right now I have a full plate in the next few days, including loading up that "Mulan" alternates CD-R.
