I bought the album, and its really good. Nothing as close to their last album - Unearthed but it is more worth checking out than Cartographer. Epic rock music is all I need to live on, and this album satisfied my taste for it.

Yes but the Pfeiffer Broz trailer albums (like Vienna) are better IMO. Most tracks are too long and too repetive and lack progression or a suprise element. This isn't the case on their trailer albums where the tracks are the same style but more focused and a lot shorter.

I agree.
They try to make it more appealing by making it a full length track, but that ruins it a bit. I want it to be short but POWERFUL

Somehow i always get excited about a new ES Posthumus album, but then it disappoint me when im done listening. :(

For example:
Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, very iconic and consist of 3 parts.

They only did one part (the 1st one) while part 3 is imo a good way to build up the music.
But its really boring listening to the first segment with a constant looping drum (im not kidding). Its terrible :(

ill be waiting for Nemesis II from Two Steps From Hell to spend my money on.

I wonder, did the Vonlichten brothers lose there inspiration, or should they go on with short trailer cue's and continue as Pfeifer Broz.

Really? that's the first I have heard of Nemesis sequel...cool. Still have not heard any Pfeifer music yet.

Yes Nemesis 2 will be a public TSFH album. It's a side project from Thomas Bergersen and will feature much longer tracks than just short trailer cues. Let's hope TJB won't make the same mistake as Posthumus/Pfeiffer and just makes a one minute cue and repeat it 4 times with some choir in the back.

Starvation is a track that will appear on Nemesis 2 and is basically a 2 minute song repeated one time which make 4 minutes in total. But still much better then everything that's on Makara. We'll see...

Unstoppable is an awesome piece but it's been out so long now that it kind of dampers my excitement. Its still a good album though

Thanks for sharing.

But I find this last album very repetitive. But much better than the precedent. The first from ESP will remain a reference.

I think I liked Cartographer better. This goes too much into the general trailer music direction and frankly, Two Steps from Hell and other production music companies are currently much better at that. Still an interesting enough effort, thanks for sharing!
