Hey I was wondering if anyone has or can rip the OST for this game. I love the music in this game and I tried looking for it earlier but to no avail. If anyone can help that'd great xD

Part of the reason there's been such a problem getting a soundtrack uploaded is because there isn't an official soundtrack aside from the five-track sampler included with the Japanese version.

I unpacked the ROM, and the music is in a nonstandard format that can't be extracted with readily available tools. Sucks, eh?

I think we're going to need a line-in rip or a soundcard dump for this one. Maybe when I play it on Desmume, I'll grab the music.

It works fine in WinZip. WinRAR is giving me problems as well.

It's a pretty bad rip though. The first part of some of the songs (such as the (boss) battle music ;_;) is cut off (unless I did something wrong extracting?)... :/

I'm ripping it directly from an emulated playthrough. The battle music intros were missing because I was getting sound effects and voice acting over that part, but the battle voices and sound effects can be turned off, so it should be fixable.

One problem is that the main voice acting can't be turned off, just turned down, so I may not be able to get all the music since voice acted cutscenes proceed automatically and the voice acting will cover the music.

Kyrie is slowly dieing in this? I couldn't find it. I have no clue if it plays anywhere else in the game. Or is it ruined by the voice acting?

"Rajiv's Death" is used as the theme for every Beastlord.
"Boss Battle" is really only used for Beastlords. All other bosses have different battle themes.
"Mechato" should be "Mechto".
"Mirrorshade Grotto" should be "Mirrorsand Grotto"
"Mysterious Fog Place" is used in illusion traps set up by the beastlords, the most important (and biggest) one is Depths of Memory.

Apart from the battle tunes, some other songs have their intro cut off as well.

Also, make sure you're using the latest version of No$gba and you checked "Action Replay DS" and unchecked "RAW" in the cheat edit menu.

Anyone have a list of who composed which music? It's claimed that it's all Yasunori Mitsuda, but most of the music doesn't match his musical style, so I think there are other composers.

Once I get tagging info, I'll upload the whole gamerip.

It is very exciting to see this come to pass. I just started searching for some of Mitsuda's latest works, and so to see someone working on a complete rip for this game, is humbling for the average listener. That Action Replay code is ingenious. More people should think like that (though I'd imagine getting the raw music files to be played would be even more impressive).

GameFAQs lists two other composers, Shunsuke Tsuchiya and Kazumi Mitome. I don't think there's a list of who composed each individual song, though.
