Hi i'm just curious if there's any chance there will be a FFIX remade for the PS3 system?

I sincerely doubt that there will be.

If you mean a full-scale remake, then most likely not.

But it's certainly possible that SE will release the original on PSN soon just as they did with VII and VIII. I of course have absolutely no intention of getting it.

Why does everybody keep thinking there are going to be remakes? If anything people should be asking about V or VI not the others.

Square-Enix needs to move forward and come up with ORIGINAL IDEAS.

Smarty is right though, I'm positive they will release the original PSX title on the Playstation Store for PS3/PSP eventually.

Sadly though, it seems that is SE's tune. Remaking earlier titles for current consoles. Fortunately, they've only focused on FF1-6 at the moment. With the PlayStation Network, and being able to get older titles via that, a FFIX remake will be doubtful.

I don't think noobs are going to stop making inane remake request threads though MKS... the low brain cells don't allow for higher thought computation.
