I stand tall, with my hand on my heart
Reminiscing when the towers fell apart
I can't even bear to feel what they felt
When they watched the bodies of their loved ones melt

But somehow, some way, spirits fly high
As much as we lament, remember and cry
And we struggle on with bravery and faith
And try not to live with too much constraint

A time of which we could have fallen down
We stood with our candles, not making a sound
Just keeping the families pain in our minds
In a time we just simply couldn't decline

This has proven to be such a stressful fight
But we have used this opportunity to reunite
To be nothing but a large band of brothers
So we could maybe, finally all love each other.

:) Positive and bright poetry from Chris ^__^ Lovely. :D I'll see you some day in the future, a fellow poet-ician, and we can have a convention, make people cry, ^_~ good thoughts.

Anyway, it's sad that something so distroying as the Sept. 11th was needed to unite America, :) But it has happened and together we are. ^__^ Great expression of that.

It's all very saddening to me. But thank you all for your thoughts and replies. My prayers to everyone.
