I search the Complete Score of Michael Giacchino's Star Trek. I see on internet that exists a 2 CD version (59 tracks) ripped from the DVD.

I am a little sceptic....if its really ripped from DVD forget it in the case that the music and effects are not sepperate....then you can count witch extreme SFX (also faint SFX and reduced voices in the background)
I hate such rips cause its not pure music......
I think that this edition, if its not only a fake (many people with good graphic programs can make fake covers of score versions that are only pure fantasy products) that this edition will be SFX-loaded....hope not so.........

There is an "expanded score" floating around, but a lot of it is just remixed material from the official soundtrack. As far as new music goes, there are parts of the cues heard during the space jump preparation and Kirk and Sulu's fight on the drill, which I'm sure were ripped from the Star Trek DAC game soundtrack. That plus Beastie Boys' Sabotage is on there.

I found the CD in FLAC format and then converted it to Mp3.

It is also a membership club release only and you can find it on amazon and ebay, but people want something like 32 UKP + Postage which is around another �10 UKP.

To do this as a special club release is stupid.

The FSM releases of STII & STIII are better priced.

Just get the deluxe edition and the choir tracks I sent out to a few people and combine them and you have a good expanded release.

I already have the expanded release. I have all 3 versions of the soundtrack that I mentioned above: commercial, expanded, and special edition. I'm surprised someone hasn't made a complete already

Simple. Not all cues are available for the general collectors. If you combine all sources we have, you still have some cues left, making it complete. Lossy M4A-encoded recording sessions are floating around, but only in the higher circles.

As an "old school" Trekkie myself, I very much enjoyed the 2009 film. Sure they created an "alternate timeline", but I can live with it, especially since the movies/TV shows that came out after DS9 were crap. I'm definitely looking forward to Into Darkness. I can say for certain it exists. I have not listened to it yet. I only saw the movie once, and remember nothing of the movie, so I am curious. Perhaps I shall listen this evening. It is Varese, so cannot be posted. I will not share via pm just now, I have my hands full with other posts. I only mention to give hope, as it IS available, and not buried too offly deep. Perhaps in a few weeks, after the requests for Rio, Ice Age and Outbreak die down. But I am still getting a dozen or so requests a day.

I have ripped the youtube source, split the file into cues using EAC and converted into flac just to avoid any transcoding of the loosy material. I think almost got every name correct but in one of the alternates tracks I have my doubts.

Since this si a Varese if anyone wants this version they can PM me and I'll try to fullfil the requests.

Official cue sheet from Albert Hall performance tonight. Which was epic :) they did miss that epic end credit crescendo though...
