can remember how the limit breaks work...i know you have to use the first one in each lvl 8 times to get the second one...then is it 88 monsters to get the next lvl???

Uhhhh, i believe you kill 80 enemies each time. not 195 and that. The only time it change is with Vincent where it's 60 enemies each time. I'm assuming you know how to get all final limits?

same here, i thought it was 88 each one up from the lower limit in each level..(*badly phrased*)

I don't know the exact number, I'm sure it's 80 , but maybe god of hellfire was counting all the kills, the kill goal is obviously character specific,meaning 80 kills by that cahracter only count for that cahracter, hope I helped instead of complicated.

Many sites I've seen seem to give it as 80 kills for every character except Vincent (who only needs 60) in order to learn the first limit of each level. God of HellFIRE is actually right. It's hard not to notice that it takes much longer to learn Meteorain than any other character's first level 3 limit; you'll notice this especially if you keep the same party for as long as you can, and try to evenly share the kills out between them.

But yeah, the number of kills definately varies from character to character. I was actually going to make a list to get it exact once (I've seen slightly different values at different sites), but I got bored just after starting so never finished it. :p The number of kills may actually vary from game to game, although this is unlikely.

And yeah, this probably goes without saying, but only kills made by the character themself count towards learning their own limit breaks. ;)

Yeah the statistics I gave earlier were counted by me long ago because I wanted to have a list of that for everytime I'd play...
I don't know if it varies from game to game but in MY game that were the numbers I had to achieve...

i agree with the limits not always needing to be used 8 time for the 2nd one in each lvl...

i used aeris's 6 times to get the 2nd in each lvl...then a finally got great gospel at last
