Well guys after 2 months of waiting its finally here, had a chance to get a good listen and to be honest with you I am mildly disappointed at the tracklist most of it is really cheezy jazz kinda music and its just really not my taste but its ok cause after listening to the other good music I had nothing else to complain about. Now I have commented by the ones that you should go for. Personally I think they could of done a lot better but like I always say there is always next year and who knows they might be saving all of that up to release it on Bleach TV Animation Original Soundtrack 5 if they do that. Well its been fun guys this is me signing off. I will be back every now and then to check on the link. Later...and enjoy this wonderful tracklist.

Marconze, thank you very much for the upload ^^. After a quick listening to the OST, my opinion is the same as you because except "Pantera", "Nothing can be explained" (which has ever been my favourite) and "Number One", I'm a little upset (there are again a lot of unreleased BGM ^^").
I have a question for you : in this OST and the others, does the identification code of the BGM appears on the booklets ? I mean code as M-1002 for example. I'm interested in but contrary to olders OST (such as DBZ, Saint Seiya), I have noticed that it's something that disappears nowadays.

Don't get me wrong Marconze, you've done us all a big favor, and for that I'm greatful. But this soundtrack is the worst so far. With the exception of 3 tracks or so, I'm sure no one can be happy about this release. There're so many memorable themes of the past few seasons that were not yet released on cd, and instead they filled it with all kinds of crap that I've never heard before. Or maybe I have, but it was clearly so boring/bad that my head didn't bother to store it anywhere. Biggest disappointment of the day, luckily there's still the great Naruto Shippuuden OST 2 and the goddamn awesome Iron Man 2 trailer.

This OST is a bit weird but Power To Strive is awesome !

this was a big disappointment only one track that is actually good and that is: power to strive, what do you guys think?

I am doing my own conversion to .mp3 format that will be in 320K for you picky listeners.

The ska tracks are the motif for the Visored characters. You may have heard a couple of Visored themes on OST 3, OST 4 basically contains the rest of the Visored themes. So basically this is the Visored OST the same way OST 3 was the Arrancar OST and OST 2 belonged to the Bounts.

For those who are in the "know", Bleach's motifs run like this:

Ichigo and friends: Industrial/grunge
Soul Society: Classical/orchestral
Bounts: Synth
Arrancar: Flamenco/Spanish-themed (though Grimmjow is so cool he gets a rock theme XD)
Visored: Ska

EDIT: Actually, now that I listen more closely, the tracks sound more ska-ish to me, with the combination of horns and guitars. So this is basically a ska-themed album with nods to the other motifs.

This was fairly disappointing but I guess he was a little overworked from working on this OST and May'n's new album "STYLES". It's a shame really, but at least I liked more than 1/3 of the songs---making it better than OST 3 in my book.

I was slightly disappointed (I don't like the Visored themes) but Grimmjow's theme was great. XD Thanks for sharing with us and taking the time to import it!

Basically, instead of releasing old music, they chose to release the Visored themes for the most part, and I can't really blame the producers for making that decision considering how important the Visoreds were after the return to canon (and the Visoreds will become important once more when Bleach returns to canon yet again). They did throw a bone to long-time fans with the instrumental versions of "Nothing Can Be Explained" and "Number One", along with throwing in Grimmjow's theme, but this was all about newer stuff, not classic unreleased/remixed material.

I would expect OST 5 to be based more on the current filler arc than on unreleased material. I could see Bleach releasing 7 OSTs, with the 6th OST covering the next return to canon (and maybe the ending of Bleach) and the 7th and final OST basically being a collection of unreleased and remixed stuff.

Thx for the release, I was hopefull that we would have gotten a better soundtrack knowing how bad the last Soundtrack + 2 film scores were. But here we are again with the release of the 4th Tv Soundtrack and out of 30 tracks only "4" were worth keeping. I like Bleach I do but man Shiro needs to step his game up I'm tired of purchasing Bleach CD's for compilation projects because that's all his track record with me has been except for the 1st CD that was a gold mine of good music.

Well I haven't followed much on the music but thanks for showing us this. Perhaps I'll learn to appreciate more of the music. ^-^;

Honestly, you cannot improve upon the source quality. They were 256kbps at 44100Hz, raising the bitrate or the Hz doesn't improve the quality.

If you encoded/converted a 15MB .flv video with a blocky video stream and poor audio quality into a 350MB .avi file the quality would still be the same.

No improvement would be made. The same goes for just audio and video standalone, you cannot, and I reiterate, CAN NOT improve upon the source quality you were given.

Like I said before, the only way to get better quality files than the one's you have now, would be to either have the OST or to be given a higher quality rip directly from the disc, not a encoding/conversion to a higher rate.

Ya sucks that so many of the desired BGMs keep getting skipped over with crap BGMs that no one really remembers or was used once .... But I guess this is how they keep people buying the CDs. Depending on how many more fillers they decide to add on to the Bleach series well probably be waiting for a long time >.<

Well the first one is indeed and unreleased song and is not on any of the Original Soundtracks. The second one however is a track called ''Senna'' . It is a track from the OST of the first bleach Movie: Memories of Nobody

Btw, I don't know if someone noticed but he tracklist on the soundtrack is partly mixed up.
It says:
19 - VANISHING SOUL
20 - Number One’s One Else
21 - Nothing Can Be Explained (inst ver.)
But after ripping I noticed that track 19 is in fact "Number One's One Else" and track 20 is "Nothing Can be Explained (inst ver.).
I wonder now if track 21 is the real "VANISHING SOUL" or some other track.
