Well if you really think about it...Tidus and Jecht don't really exist. They're just dreams

If you've beaten Yunalesca, then I can tell you why you fight Jecht. As the story tells you, Jecht sacrificed himself along with Braska to kill Sin, and by doing that he gave himself to becoming the NEXT Sin. Since Auron survived, Jecht asked him to help him bring Tidus to Spira, in order to have him kill the Jecht-Sin. This is where you find a way to defeat Sin completely, and not fall into the cycle of Sin reappearing after The Calm.

If Lulu has all those spells, just use a sphere (forgot the name) that takes you back to an already activated node near Doublecast, and you can get it. Also, if 2-3 other characters have leveled enough like Lulu, you should have all the skills you need, just work on some gear. You don't NEED the ultimate weapons to beat the game, but they do add some power that you seem to be missing.

Only if you have the International (PAL) version of the game do you have to fight the Dark Aeons. If you have the American version, they aren't in the game. Also, I think Bevelle Temple is already counted as 'completed' because there is NO WAY back in. I'm about to get there myself, but I think the treasure is either obvious to get, or non-existent seeing how you can't get back in there.

Also, you don't need Anima or the Magus Sisters to win, but like the Ultimate Weapons, they do help. If you need to level a little more, track down the dungeon area that has the boss Ultima Weapon, it's a secret area (I believe near the calm lands) that has random encounters with a ton of AP for you.

Any other questions just feel free to ask here, don't have to make new posts for each one. ;)

First of all the Dark Aeons are only in the special international versions, which I never played so I'm not really familiar with their mechanics.

However, as for Anima, you cannot return to Bevelle ever again to the cloister. But don't worry, if you had five lights turn on, it's probably not Bevelle you missed. As a matter of fact I believe that they specifically made it impossible to skip Bevelle's Destruction treasure for this very reason, they made it so you have to open the chest to trigger something. The HP Sphere (or was it MP... don't recall) is that, but there IS a second chest in the cloister which is missable and you kind of need to plan ahead to get it, but it doesn't count towards the destruction sphere, so missing it won't affect Anima (it's a pretty good weapon though, the Knight Lance). All you need is the HP Sphere which is right on your path. The Knight Lance is just an added bonus chest.

A lot of people have the misconception that they missed Bevelle when seeing five lights turn on, but really the one you're missing is in Zanarkand. I'm gonna assume that's what it is because Zanarkand's Destruction Sphere puzzle isn't accessible until after visiting there a SECOND time after already defeating Yunalesca, in the temple area with the colored tetris tiles and the white squares, there's a puzzle this time involving stepping on the white squares alone, and something with a Besaid Sphere, Kilika Sphere, and a variety of spheres from past temples, and another Destruction Sphere.
Just go back to Zanarkand, it should be there. It's annoying because a lot of people don't find it because you can only do it after beating Yunalesca so that puzzle is kind of hidden, you can't really "chance" upon it because you're led to thinking you did everything in Zanarkand.

But anyway yeah, go back to Zanarkand and solve the puzzle there which shouldn't be too hard.

I'm pretty sure Zanarkand is the only one you HAVE to revisit. It's the only one where you can't get the D-Sphere in the first visit.

Hey, thanks again for all your help guys! I just got Anima; HOLY MOTHER OF MOSES, I have NEVER had something that powerful at my disposal in a FF before! HOLY WOWSERS. . . . No, scratch that, I've never had something that powerful in ANY game before!! Hell, I may not even need the Magus sisters or the Nirvana now :D Or should I at least get the Magus Sisters, and hit Jecht's first form with everybody's overdrive including the Aeons (except Anima), then grand summon Anima in the second form, hit him with that, then use her overdrive again afterward?

Anima's got nothing on the Magus Sisters. I know that probably seems ridiculous to you judging by your post, but wait until you get them and then you'll be laughing at the fact that you said you don't need them. Well, you probably don't need them for beating BFA, but you'd appreciate their power.

Their only downside is their lack of complete control, like you can't exactly decide what moves you want them to use, kind of like Umaro from FFVI. You'll see what I mean once you get them, but after using them for a bit (or looking at a guide) you could probably figure out how to harness them to an extent.

Ahh, hey Zak! Just got back in here after this site's apparently been down for a couple days, apparently not for everybody though because I see some have posted recently :O
At any rate, it's good to be back :D And.. you were right! Those Magus Sisters really packed a punch, and with them, I managed to finally crush Jecht! Then, I think it's safe to say Yu Yevon was quite the joke battle.. I mean, first I lose all my Aeons, then I get that piss-easy fight?! WTF?! LOL! Well, at any rate, thanks a million! I'm sure glad I took the time to get 'em, because that sure saved me a whole lot of trouble Jecht would've inflicted on me!

And, is it just me, or was that the only sad ending in the entire series? (I've yet to beat III, V, or VIII, so those I'm not sure of) Why'd he have to go away?? WHYYY??? WHYYYY??? :( I'm a dude.. but if I were a chick, that ending would've made me cry I bet :( Well, at least it looked like he got reunited with his father, Auron, and Braska in a positive way :D

You can play X-2 if you'd like a little more resolution out of the story.

^^ That game takes A LOT of heat for ever being created. I personally like a little more story expansion and resolution, but I just couldn't get more than a couple hours into it. I looked up the vids and endings from it and felt satisfied enough.

See, that's what I'll probably end up doing, unless I get into it, which.. I have seen two videos for it, one being the intro, and so far I don't like what I see :-/ But, on the other hand, I didn't like the looks of III or V and now I love em :D I guess I just don't like how they turn Rikku and Yuna into such . . . eh, promiscuous-looking specimens :-/ If they'd gone about it differently, sure, I'd be all for it.. but, as it stands, I'm pretty on the fence about it right now. Long as they keep at least Lulu, Kimahri and Wakka in it, that's at least a plus right there :D

Meh, that's the only reason it really tends to get a lot of heat, which I think is bullshit.
I personally found X-2's battle system to be far far greater than X's. Sure I'm not a big fan of the "new Yuna", but there are other elements of the game itself which make it enjoyable, like some really fun sidequests.
But also what's fun is the fact that Spira (this game's world) is for the most part, exactly the same almost, like all the old places are still there, so it's deja vu, just to see what's been developed in all the older places and what they decided to have going on there now.
Also, aside from Lulu/Wakka/Kimahri still being around, you also get a lot of updates/closure with a lot of FFX's secondary NPC characters you meet throughout the game. Like... the Chocobo Knights, for instance.

Well, I could go on but the main reason I found the game enjoyable is because it's like X's world with a better battle system.

I agree with you Zak, I don't find FFX-2 a bad game. Albeit I insult it every once a while but i still enjoy it nonetheless
