Kei Wakakusa - Ushio and Tora III Resurrection - 1993

Download (http://www.peejeshare.com/files/363229640/UtTRev3.rar.html)

I bought this one randomly today at my local used Japanese CD shop for $3 :D Turned out to be awesome and by Kei Wakakusa no less! I can't find an english tracklist so the tags are in Japanese but I put the album name, genre, and album artist in english. Includes full size album cover scan.

EDIT: New link added. Post has been updated to reflect that the actual composer is Kei Wakakusa.

I posted the His and Her Circumstances sonudtracks 1 and 2 by the same composer. He also did the Evangelion soundtracks. Both of those are very good. I'm not too familiar with his work beyond that.
EDIT: I asked the experts on the subject, (the old anime music thread), we'll see if they get back to me with more suggestions. I didn't know Sagisu had this kind of music in him!

Sagisu has done some very nice scores before, the Evangelion series is his most prominent oeuvre. Something someone interested in orchestral music SHOULD at least try.

I also enjoy his Abenobashi mah shtengai which includes some very nice parodies of classic movie scores.

Thank you so much.
Shiroh Sagisu is from my Sign: VIRGO like me :D
And I also want to make music like him and Yoshihiro Ike (which is also VIRGO 1 day before) XD

Wow, you're in an uploading frenzy... Thanks for this. Are any of these tracks composed by Kei Wakakusa? He wrote the music for the last episodes of Ushio and Tora (eps 7-10 according to the Japanese Wikipedia page (http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%81%86%E3%81%97%E3%81%8A%E3%81%A8%E3%81%A8%E3%8 2%89)) and this is the last soundtrack, so it should have his music on it, I think.

This is possible Grandis, I only go by the composer list on animenewsnetwork because it is all I can find.

Are there any credits listed on the back of the case? I could read it if you could scan it. Or you can look for the names:

若草 恵 = Kei Wakakusa

(音楽 = music, 作曲 = composer)

Here's a transliterated track list:

1. Kemono no Yari (sung by Shinya Iguchi)

3. Nikushimi no Hate
4. Kehai
5. Tsuyoku Yasashii Kokoro

Wow, great job, man !

and to all users, second hand CD stores are a real blessing to us...even if you have to buy random stuff (works most of the time for me, as I got my greedy little hand on lots of Harlock CDs this way ! ^_^)

Hello, Siriusjr! Thanks for this awesome link! Would you consider changing the thread title, if possible, to reflect that this is not a Shiro Sagisu album but a Kei Wakakusa one instead? I don't mean to nitpick; I am a fan of both of these wonderful composers, and they each had a hand in composing this series. I ask this of you to help avoid confusion, since this thread is still active. Thanks again for this wonderful find!

Yeah, good point. I wasn't really sure of the composer when I posted it. I'll PM a mod to change the thread title later.

This is actually Kei Wakakusa; the old thread title (as well as incorrect tags on the album itself) persists... ;)

I edited, so now it says Kei Wakakusa in thread title.
Can't do nothing about incorrect tags :p
