Some of us don't get by with MP3 (preference for OGG or AAC). Those that do prefer MP3 can simply encode from the flac set :D

Less stuff to upload and faster encoding. Despite throwing out larger files, it's the quickest encoding.

because all of them are dead since 2010
and I'm not going to re-encode all the CD's (it takes to much time)

But how about just uploading them in FLAC? Its encoded much faster. Only takes more time to upload.

I abandoned MP3 a few years ago and prefer FLAC and M4A where available.
