It's not exactly a remake, is more of a reboot, if this one has success, a sequel could come out for Wii.
It's like the beggining of the franchise for Wii, while Xbox 360 continues the original one. It's a good idea for me.

I found the OST disappointing...

Silent Hill hasn't been great since Silent Hill 3 (although I had fun with Origins). Hope Shattered is good. This soundtrack more consistent than Homecoming, I thought.

I love how this is more neutral/peaceful, the previous ost's all had those weirdo creepy noise tracks (Wich was pointless, they work in the game but not for easy listening).

The new McGlynn songs suck btw...

My favorite song on the whole game is Devil's Laughter, whenever I run to get somewhere or when I do exercise I can hear this song in the background, it's awesome, it makes me look back like when you press the down button to check your back on the game. xD
There seems to be lots of songs missing, you should check the game out first, some awesome songs they didn't put up in this one.

I beat the game yesterday and honnestly... I have to disagree. Sorry but bad, unresponsive controls and frustrating gameplay ruin it.
I actually liked the twist ending but the rest of the story was abit of a mess.

It misses Silent Hill's main feature: Horror. The game isnt at all scary because you know when and when you arent going to be in danger (you only ever get attacked in icey Silent Hill, in the normal world you're as safe as houses). And even when you are being attacked its just a lame chase from cookie cutter enemies around a rather big area WHERE YOU CANT STOP AND LOOK AT YOUR MAP! And when you do get taken down (probably because the game decided not to understand you're movements to shake off the enemies properly) YOU HAVE TO START THE WHOLE DAMN CHASE AGAIN!

I wont be going back to the game ever again and that suits me just fine. I got one of the endings and based off what i've heard the others dont change anything either way (apart from the UFO ending).

For the next game they can keep all of this psychologist stuff if they want, it was quite amusing. But please PLEASE let us attack enemies and have them constantly in the game rather then in single bits. Also how about putting it on a console that'll make it look better then the 6 year old Silent Hill 3?
