Humm, while on the outside it looks like a typical dating simulation but I think its features is why it's called Love Plus.

http://kotaku.com/5243198/love-plus-has-your-virtual-girlfriend-experience-covered

Players can set how they want their girlfriend to address them, and over time, she modifies to match the players' likes and dislikes. The way she speaks will even change slowly over the course of the game.

Love Plus, which is scheduled for release this summer, runs on a real time clock, and there's no actual ending to the game. The DS title is packed with over 5,000 scripts, 150 CG events and 25,000 voice expressions. See? Plus!
This game reminds me of Animal Crossing due to its real time system and dedication required. However, the solutions to pissed girlfriends can just be start over or toss her to the side; much like the neighbors you haven't visited in months. Ultimately, Love Plus keeps a safer rating while still going beyond the basic simulation but not entering the genre of Hentai games. Thumbs up for the ronery guys.

Hah. It's pretty funny, but it should hardly be surprising given the nature of Japanese anime nerds.

There are dating elements in Lux-Pain. I didn't like it, because it felt entirely shallow because basically you just agreed with and flattered the girl you want to "woo." So, it was like, well I guess I'm just picking the one I find the most physically attractive and 'playing the game.' Changing yourself to please someone else is something I can't recommend, especially if they like you for who you are in the first place.

Might be expecting too much out of a video game in that respect (and more in-depth dating sims might not work this way, I can't honestly say as I haven't played any of them). I say this as I'm wearing diggs of the girl I chose... :notgood:
