I noticed something about the MW2 rips though...its has a terrible dynamic range compression so its clipped for loudness.

I think its mixed this way for the game, but i hope Activision will release an original soundtrack with the master tracks

To anyone interested:

I noticed that most of the tracks are separated into left/right and left surround/right surround, so I took all those tracks, split them into individual channels and reassembled those channels into 4-channel AC3 files. The quality is not too bad (given the highly compressed source material) so if anyone wants this, I can upload what I have for others to enjoy.

Unfortunately, some tracks are left/right front only, so I have kept those in the original mp3 format.

Wait, hold on people, shit is confusing. I thought this was original rip, in this case AKA extracted from the packed files just like in the case with Call of Duty 4. Where you only needed winrar to do the job. How in the fuck these tracks can be fucked up like this? Or am I misunderstanding this one once again? O_o

If you look at the extracted files, you'll notice that names of many of them contain either _LR or _LsRs. That stands for LeftRight (front channels) and LeftSurround/RightSurround (back channels). Such files form a couple and since they are stereo, you can fairly easily achieve 4-channel surround sound by combining the two files into one, which is what I did.

I'll upload the stuff tomorrow, it's late here and I'm falling asleep at the keyboard. :)
